  1. So Jealous, and it looks as good as it probably sounds. Nice work! Mine changed some too with the move. Not an improvement, just different. http://www.fotoshack.us/foto.php?id=6541DSC02457.JPG
  2. I think forum troll was a pretty good assumption after further review. The fact that you reply in a matter of fact manner does nothing but detour me from you opinion anyways. Don't be so sensitive, this forum is filled with grown men who love sports, music, movies etc. Not everyone has some higher education in this area and I don't care to be lectured by some self proclaimed genious. Moving on....
  3. So you obviously made a point to bash both companies "surge protection" products but you didn't make any kind of suggestion to any other product?! You can't be serious about the $3 dollar powerstrip crap? I realize Monster may be marked up for the name but even my HT800 offers something like $100,000 policy if I remember correctly, which I'm sure they wouldn't base off a $3 component. As far as Panamax goes my local go to spot for HT has a Panamax protecting their $50,000+ theater room. Also noticed you have posted 44 times and still have no system profile? Forum Troll?.............
  4. I think the panamax m4300 is going to work well for me, any suggestions otherwise
  5. Currently have a monster cable power center ht800, My rpw10 got fried shortly after a brownout and after recently replacing my AVR and Sub it has me wondering whether it's sufficient? Would like some opinions and suggestions. Thanks Shaun
  6. Got the new Denon home, did the setup, put it in pure direct mode and an hour went by like nothing, just sat there listening to Octane,HHNation, and Area. Wow.........Didn't expect such a dramatic improvement over my Yamaha. Aside from the sound quality, there there is so much seperation if you listen, not to mention how wide the soundstage is as well as focused if that makes sense.
  7. Thanks for the input. Like I said I'm still new to HT but everything you said made sense. As far as the 791 goes I got a call today saying that it was being discontinued and so my local dealer offered me a 1911 for the same sale price as the open box 791 at BB that they were going to match. $399 for the 1911! I just saw it on sale there a few weeks ago for $580. I'm going to pick it up tonight, Can't wait:)
  8. Just ordered the Denon 791 tonight from my local Klipsch Dealer after hearing and comparing against Yamahas 667 and Pioneers 1020k at BB. Can't wait to get it setup!
  9. My HT(not so nice) but a start anyways[] 47" LG LBX OPUS YAMAHA RX-V461 XBOX 360 ELITE P S 3 DISHVIP722K DVR MAINS= INFINITY RS-4 CENTER= INFINITY REARS= KLIPSCH RSX-4 SUB= VELODYNE DLS 3750R
  10. I'm currently using Infintity's for my Mains and CC and want to replace them to match up with my Klipsch RSX-4's. I also need to upgrade my Receiver and find one that will pair well with my new Fronts/CC. Thinking RF-52 II's and RC-42 II with Denon AVR, I like bright sound but with my Yamaha it seems wearing and will probably be more so with a new Klipsch frontend. Just got Velodyne DLS 3750R sub Any suggestions would be appreciated still very new to HT, Thanks! Shaun
