  1. Thanks man, tYeah I have seen these but they are all "B stock" cherry and I have to have black. I post in the klipsch owners thread a lot!
  2. The seller does have a return policy but I rather avoid it if possible because I just sold my RC-62II and would be without my HT and that would make me angry LOL!!
  3. I have bought all 9 speakers from them and I am still deciding if I should get the (4) RF-7II I just got my RF-82II a bit ago but those RF-7II sound good LOL!!! I think that may be a bit much though.....my system now will run you out of the house and I am about to put 200 watts per channel to my wides, fronts and center. I am VERY interested in where you found these RC-64II for the price I paid I do need (2) more. If you want to PM the link that is awesome or share it here.
  4. Its hard to discribe what it is..it is like a VERY small piece of the paint came off on the corner where the box is put together...I am happy with it...I would justnlike to make sure it is working order...sounds better than my RC-62II I will say that!
  5. Thats the way I look at it....the cover was still in plastice and the strofoam was very hard to get off and the box was not retaped anywhere I could see so it appeared to be not ever opened, but I couyld be wrong. There is a minor scuff on one of the corners but that is probally from shipping, I have seen worse from others. I just cant think how the benzel would not just be there it almost looks like it was damaged...he removed it and shipped it?
  6. I agree...right now I do have a local dealer that said "If It has the serial # on the box he can get me a new bezel...but I want to make sure this speaker is new and not defective. I tested it and it sounds great so I guerss I may go that route. The seller hasn't responded yet. I did get a email before getting the speaker that stated this (I actualy wanted to see if he had others LOL!!): I got this center speaker from a Klipsch distributor who owed me a favor and gave it to me at his cost (that's why it was so cheap).
  7. The speaker was new in the box (at least it looked like it was not opened). The thing that is a bit odd is the in the pic if you look at the bottom 2nd hole where I am guessing the benzel pushes in looks to be mis-formed or had a benzel in at one time and was maybe knocked out. I bouth this speaker on Ebay as "new" for a very low price of $915.00. The seller seems very nice plus I bought it with paypal and it also has the Ebay protection on it. I went to a local dealer and agreed the nbox looked as if it had not been open but had a VERY hard time believing that the factory left this piece off. Here is the add: http://www.ebay.com/itm/260836754196?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
  8. Well I recieved my new RC-64II (Supposed to be new) center speaker and the front of the 2 piece horn is missing (front benzel where it goes together. Will this hurt the perfomance? Will a RF-7II horn work on this unit? Here are pics of horn where the bezel is missing....we are looking into seeing if a RF-7II benzel would work since they have the same tweeter.
  9. I totally agree work this....taking your advice was the biggest improvement to my systym....so much more detail and harder hitting bass where it should be. My Dad also took your advice and loved it.....80htz sounds like crap compared to what I have now.
  10. Mine don't...I just ordered a key-hole bracket and drilled holes and installed them...I then hung them with a 1/4" X 3" toggle bolt. I just recentely put them on a shelf though LOL!!!
  11. I love klipsch....but there subs leave a lot to be desired....time to get some paint. Is there a specific kind?
  12. That is a understaement..they are massive LOL!!
  13. Yeah it is insane...I honestly cant imagine a louder sub.....when I was in my room I had a bass CD in and it was hard to breath LOL!!
  14. I second this...The E5-350 is just breath taking....honestly is.....I would listen to Jason, he has great advice and has helped me out a GREAT deal.
  15. Maybe a crazy question but, I have reference speakers and want my front facing sub to mach the gold/copper cematallic finish....any suggestions????
  16. Agreed I would sell it and buy a power amp. Use it tell you sell it. I also agree LOL!!! Now I will show him this!
  17. I dont do this around friends LOL!! I will say it was well worth it though....I have the fronts at 40Htz the surrounds at 60Htz and the center at 80 Htz. The detail I was missing when I had them at 80Htz is astounding!! what a difference!! I have the sub at 100Htz and that sub hits so hard the neighbors across ththe street heard it LOL!! That is with a 300watt amp...getting the 500 wattt RMS amp in a few days, beggining to think I don't need it LOL!!
  18. My Dad has a question for you guys LOL!! He already has a 3311Ci and is getting a 4311Ci and wants 11.2 and wants to know if he can use the 3311Ci as a external amp for 2-channels since he laready has the reciever.....I know it is over kill but he wanted me to ask LOL!!
  19. Thanks!! I will get you some pics here in a few....placing the sub right now......doing the "Subwoofer crawl" LOL!!
  20. That makes sense, so set the crossover at 80-100Htz...also the specs on the sub say "frequency response is 18-100Htz" so does that mean it can not even go to 120htz??? Would there even be a point to setting it that high if it cant go that high LOL!!
  21. When you say "my sub at 120Hz", are you referring to the subs internal crossover or the LFE setting on the Denon? If you are referring to the A5-350's internal crossover, then read on. If you are using the Denon to control all bass management and you are using it's line level subwoofer out RCA connection(LFE channel and speaker crossovers), set the internal crossover in your A5-350 to 150Hz (which will completely disable it as if you turned it to the off position) so as to not have the sub and the receiver both competing for the same job. Let the Denon control each speakers crossover and the LFE(.1, .2, etc.) channel. The only controls that are now active in your A5-350 are volume and phase. Bill I turned the internal crossover to 180Htz as high as it will go...I have the sub set to 120Htz thru the denon and it is hooked up with a single sub cable (No splitter) into the LFE channel. I have the phse set to "0".
  22. I actually did a lot of research on this LOL!!! Trust me...where these are placed makes a unbeliavable difference....crazy sounding LOL!! Here is a pic without the Rf-82II (Had RF-42II) before but is Still sounded great....I will post some tommorow...but this gives you a pretty good idea. I did have heights ye...still mounting these LOL!! The heights will go at a 45 degree angle between the wides and fronts. Fronts are at 30 dergrees and trhe wuides at 60 degrees.
  23. Now you are getting my point. This is exactly what I was tring to guide you towards. Many times, when the sub AND the mains play the same sound, the detail and clarity is compromised. Even though it is mostly gaming and HT, playing music when experimenting can help you keep the clarity part honest. Thanks. It is nice when someone "gets it". Enjoy. Without you explaining it I would never had understood....you are a good teacher. 2 more questions: 1. When the sub is et at 120Htz amd it plays up to 120Htz....how low does it go? Does it depend on the specifications on the sub? 2. I am using one of those monster subwoofer plug-ins (link below), does this hurt the performace of the sub and is it needed? http://www.crutchfield.com/S-zOpTOTyDJyu/p_119MPSW200/Monster-Power-SW-200.html
