  1. Thanks for the detailed response. I have had the sub in it's box since I bought it from you this fall. Lets just say I am very excited to get it fulled hooked up.
  2. After a bunch of searching and reading old threads I came across this thread as I am in the same boat with the same question. I just unpacked my new to me RSW 15 and wanted to see what everyone's thoughts are after all of the years. Y or no Y? Thanks
  3. Thanks for the input guys I will keep you posted if I go look at them.
  4. I am possibly looking at a pair of RF-7's that are for sale locally and wanted to know if the speaker in the attached picture looks correct. The reason I ask is that I have not seen or can find a picture of an RF-7 with the groove in the bottom of the face as seen in this picture. Please let me know if you have see this before. Also the woofer cones are dented on this speaker. Does this effect the performance at all? Thanks
  5. Did you end up picking them up and how do they sound? I have found a pretty good deal on a pair thinking of picking them instead of mountings the r5800w's I bought. Thanks
  6. Thanks Guys. Still looking around with my fingers crossed for a good deal on an 809
  7. Howdy guys, This is my first post after spending a lot of time reading and buying speakers. I am finishing my basement and have a pretty good size room that looks like a capital T if you were looking down on it. My tv will be located on the wall at the bottom of the T and that section of the room of 16' wide and 33' long and the top of the T is 12' wide and 30'. I will have a bar on the end of the T and pool table on the other end of the T As of right now I have 3 new in box R-5800-w's for the front speakers, 2 RCW5's, a pair of RB51's and an RSW15. I am still looking to pick up a pair of CDT-5800's for the ceiling right behind the seating area. I have wired for a total of 5 front speakers 2 right behind the seating area, 2 up high at the top of the T on the back wall and then 2 above the cabinets in the bar. Now I am looking to purchase a new AVR and can pick up the 808 or 709 for almost the same price. What is the community's thoughts? Thanks for your input
  8. Anyone? I am in the same stage of my basement design. Thanks
