  1. Now I just to be able to find the same kind of deal on a good sub
  2. I may have to just bite the bullet and take scrappy's advice
  3. They do have an awesome return policy and trade up policy for sure
  4. It wasn't even in the garage sale section which makes it worse But looking closer at the specs on the 2 subs there is some differences Klipsch r115sw 15" 400 watts rms/800 watts and is 18hz-125hz Svs pb2000 12" 500 watts rms/1100 watts peak and is 17hz-260hz So just on specs alone is there gonna be a sound difference
  5. After buying a new to me receiver a few minutes ago buying both,is,not an option
  6. Okay so I picked up the onkyo tx-nr838 for $400 excited to get it home and hook it up
  7. Okay so originally I was looking between the klipsch r115sw and the svs pb2000. Now that a few of you have chimed in and showed the better values out there. I am now looking between the hsu Vtf15 mk2 and the psa v1500 which are in the same price range and only $300 more than the 2 I was originally looking at. I also remeasured my living room and it is 12'deep and 22' wide and opens up into a smaller kitchen. So opinions would be awesome. Thanks ron
  8. I am going to take a look at the onkyo tx-nr838 for $450 we will see what happens
  9. Definitely what ever I get will be an upgrade from my current Yamaha v757
  10. I got ya that works for me makes them closer in price for sure still trying to figure out if one is better than the other without buying both and sending one back
  11. I found a onkyo 838 local for $500 I an gonna give them a call tomorrow or looks like Crutchfield has onkyo 828's for $600 new I believe
  12. Now I am only looking at 1 though if there is no tax then that puts it dang close to the klipsch price
  13. Haven't really been waiting for it but I seen the price and I knew it was a good receiver so I thought maybe
  14. So nothing real spectacular on the outlet store plus there is tax on top of the 750 or 800 I can get that klipsch r115sw for $700 shipped to my door from an authorized deal too still not sure hoping to get someone that has experience with both the svs pb200 and the r115sw
  15. Should have known it was too good so it is missing everything no remote,no mic,no power cord, and no manual and they won't go lower than 629 plus tax should I offer 500 and see what they say
  16. So I started out looking at a denon x4000 at best buy for $650 but then found out it was missing everything. So what sounded like a good deal ended up being a horrible deal. In the mean time I was searching my local Craigslist for deals. And low and behold I find this onkyo 838 for $500. So I went to the guys house with $400 and the guy took it. The unit was in basically brand new condition and still had the blue tape on most of it. Turn s out they only played it for about 30 minutes and it came with everything except the box.
  17. I got that email seconds after I read your post lol not sure how that will work I am hoping to find someone that has experience with both of then
  18. Potentially yes so are you gonna say buy both and return the lesser of the 2 I know svs has free shipping and the 45 day but I would need to pay for the shipping back on the klipsch
  19. Okay so the, rythmik that was local sold I do like the sounds of SVS Will the pb1000 keep up with the 1 r115sw for $500 or maybe the pb2000 at $800 or will both out perform the klipsch sub
