  1. I did ask and he stated this week that he is hoping to get in a space where he can enjoy them again. I don't know medically and financially what is feasible. He was going to discuss with his brother in law. I agree on the taking up some money.
  2. I'm not really sure his situation. At one point, his brother in law was hoping he gets well enough to maybe move to TX. I'm not sure what Gil's opinion was on that. I think a lot will depend on how the rehab goes.
  3. Gil update: I was finally able to talk to Gil. He is doing some rehab. He is doing exercises and using a walker. He hopes to get transferred to another facility. He said he will try to log onto the forum this weekend. I'm sure he would love to hear from forum members. Hopefully, his cell phone is working if you try to call. He still has hopes to move into an apartment and start working again at some point. If he can get into an apartment, he would like to have the Belles. He is going to talk to his brother in law about it. So, at the moment I am holding on to his stuff for a while longer.

  5. I've tried calling Gil, has anyone been able to speak with him lately? His cell phone keeps going to voicemail for me.
  6. I sent Gil the spreadsheet, but he hasn't provided asking prices yet. I owe him a call, so I will try to get some pricing.
  7. The main line should still be operational. However, it can be hard to get through as the phone is shared with all the patients. Gil's cell is the easiest, he has answered when I have called.
  8. As of last week he was in the same facility (and he is not happy about it). He is very bored and would enjoy people reaching out to him. He does have a laptop and uses that with the Sony earbud that someone sent him. I didn't hear anything about no wifi. He should have some internet access, since he asked me to send an email. I can provide his email to people as well. However, Gil does have a hard time using the laptop, limited space and mobility. I never received a response via email.
  9. I don't have his address. I don't think he has headphones. He does have a computer, but limited mobility to manage that. I owe him a call too. Thanks for the update.
  10. Gill asked me to hold onto his stuff a little longer and ask him in another month about selling it. Where are you located? Thank you. Brandon
  11. Gil now has a new cell phone, so you don't have to call the main line anymore: Please contact me for the number. It is not a smartphone. He also has a laptop, but it is hard for him to use. I'm sure he would love to hear from people. Thank you. Brandon

  13. I don't have an update, I will give him another call when I get a chance. I'm sure that he would love to hear from you.

  15. Not his number, but updated. Maybe you should change your quote of the number too.
  16. I spoke with Gil again today. He would really love to hear from the Forum. It doesn't sound like he is making much progress. No luck yet on getting his cell phone reactivated. Please try to reach out every once in a while and brighten his day. The number is seven73-56one-2040. There is one shared wireless phone , so it sometimes takes two or three tries to get Gil on the phone.

  18. I am not the owner of anything, I am in possession of Gil's gear. I sent Gil and Joe an inventory of everything that I was able to pick up. I can hold onto things for a while for him. McIntosh MR74, C26, MC2505, MI-3, SCR2 Quartets, (3) Belle (2 consecutive AA x-overs, (1) darker with AB-2), (2) K-400 horns, (2) K-500 horns, (3) K-500 like horns crossovers: (1) 60th anniversary khorn, (2) homebuilt khorn, (2) AA (oil caps), (2) AK-4 15" woofers: (2) Pyle, (2) Pioneer, (6) EV EVM-15L, (1) EV 15W Components: (6) K77 (round), (1) K77 (square), (1) K-77M, (2) K-55V, (2) B&C DE85-8 AVEL Toroidal Transformers: (3) D4040, (3) D4007 I guessed from the photo I got that they were Forte, but they turned out to be Quartet's (was even a surprise to Gil). I will see what he want to do, I might be interested in the walnut quartets to replace my oak quartets. However, I am waiting on Joe to see where he might end up which will greatly depend on the rehab progress.
  19. I have spoken with Joe. At the moment we will hold off selling until we see where he might end up. It turns out they are walnut Quartets, not Forte.
  20. I spoke to Gil yesterday, his cell phone still isn't working yet. I'm sure he would be happy to hear from forum members. Please let me know if you want his contact info.
