Wow, I had no idea people were having that problem. Now I'm a little reluctant to buy them at all, let alone off of an online store... Too bad logitech doesnt have a tech support forum like a certain speaker company i know, lets see who was that again? Well maybe I'll just save up for the Klipsch's after all...

I used 14 guage wire in the Radio Shack plugs, i just had to shave it down a bit. It seems to be working fine, id try that before buying some overpriced Monster stuff (no offense to people that use it, I just think its way too expensive).

I've decided to get the z560s, but rather than get rid of my promedia 2.1, im gonna get an audigy and use the pros for the rear channel and the z560s for the front and center. Kinda like the 4.2, except its a 6.2 (potentially, im actually only gonna be able to use it as 5.2). Anyway, i cant wait to try it out (I need to get around to buying them first )

Good god, not the DANGER ZONE!!! *shudder* In 8th grade we had to watch these horrible videos in cooking class about food poisoning and the "danger zone," which is when food is out "too long" (about 20 mins). The horrible acting, the awful dialog (oh, i get it now, ice cream goes in the FREEZER!! ). I'm scarred for life... Anyway, other than that, id just play it by ear, if you think they're distorting, or getting hot, then turn 'em down. I honestly think that unless they're going (playing sound) 24/7 you should be OK. I have my main around 9 o'clock and the Windoze vol at 100 with wave at 80. Which would probably be about the same vol as you, so im sure your OK.
