  1. I dream of a room as spacious as this one.
  2. The top of the cabinet is already full...
  3. Rudy81, I'm speechless... wow.
  4. Nice with the IR remote! I will look for something like this next time.
  5. The kit retails foir $39.99 CND, here is the link: http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/50192365/ You can't control the brightness, but i have to say, the strips are not as bright as they appear in the photos. I extend the exposure for the photo shoot that makes them seem more powerful than they are in truth. The brightness is truly perfect for installation behind a tv, it improves alot the contrast. edit: I should add that it is possible to let it at a specific color , or let it change color slowly over time.
  6. Yes, for sure. Pure white. Irish green. Red passion. and Purple-ish purple? Here are the LED strips and the control. You can found this kit ar IKEA. and the hole I made in the cabinet to fit the receiver in it... I hope now this antique cabinet didn't worth millions of dollars. Haha yeah, it's the wii step and the dance pad of my wife. They have to be somewhere. []
  7. Like you can see i adjusted the RF82 back to large, but when i did it cuted the SW. Even is the SW was at YES. Everything is adjusted to 80Hz. After a few minutes to play with it, I ended up adjusting the SW at PLUS, it's playing the subwoofer and the RF82 to LARGE. It made ??a big difference, the sound is fuller. I also adjust the EQ as derrickdj1 advised me. Actually it helped to push the voice. But I will have to add a center channel to really complete my system. Next purchase will be a reference center channel (rc-62 or 64, not sure), or a quality turntable and a tube amp. Hard to choose.
  8. I think it's much better now. Tv is on the wall and the receiver is finally in the cabinet. This leaves more room for the speaker. I added four strip with adjustable color LED behind the TV. I like this setup, now I have to learn how to make it sound right. Btw, after reading more and more pages in this thread, I must say that many of you have really impressive HT.
  9. I will try it today, thanks! Yep, anwway it turns out that the sale was a sale online only (and now it's B/O). They no longer hold the RC-62 in the store. Only the RC-52 ... I'll have to find another brick and mortar store that has Klipsch near Montreal.
  10. Hi guys, thank you for the comments. Indeed it is very compact, in fact, the RF-82 seemed smaller in the store! [:$] 10 minutes before taking this picture the A/V receiver was close to the cabinet and the speakers at the extremities. I made the change because I wanted to see how would this affect the sound. I will return with the old configuration. This world is really new to me, I intend to do more experiments. I bought a wall bracket to install the TV on the wall, so I could free up the top of the cabinet to install possibly a center channel. Also I think to modify the cabinet in order to install the A/V receiver in it, to give more room for speakers. For the sub, should it necessarily be on the facade or can it be somewhere else in the room? And I'm glad to see someone from Quebec too!
  11. This answer is more than useful! Actually I'm not necessarily always sitting right in front of my speakers, more often offset to the right side. I actually set my central speaker and the Surrounds to OFF. Also I set the RF-82 to small to allow the use of the subwoofer. I adjusted the crossover to 80Hz on the subwoofer panel as well as on the receiver. I looked at the RC-62 mainly because the speaker is on special at $350 at a local store over here. It seemed like a good price. I would try to hear tomorrow the difference between the two speakers, perhaps can they make a good deal on the RC-64. Who knows? Merci beaucoup cher Monsieur.
  12. Hi guys, I am relatively new in the audio world. Here is my humble beginnings. Pioneer VSX-1326-K receiver (apparently canadian equivalent of the Elite VSX-53); Pair of RF-82 II; RPW-10 sub; Sony BDP-S280 Blu-ray player; JVC XVC21U dvd/vhs player; WD Multimedia player; xbox 360; Wii; Ion profile pro turntable... ( I'm searching a better TT right now)
  13. Hello all. I always liked the audio and video, but I never had the chance to equip myself properly, until now. I bought last week a set of two RF-82 , an RPW-10 subwoofer and a Pioneer VSX-1326-K receiver (which is apparently the Canadian equivalent of the Pioneer Elite VSX-53 US model ) I must say that the sound quality of the RF-82 is truly amazing. I'm not in a great expert in audio, but these are certainly the most accurate and most detailed speakers I have ever heard. I rediscovered my LP since I plugged my turntable on it. My question is: Is the addition of a center channel (RC-62) will set my audio system to the next level? What are the benefits of adding a center channel to my system? For now when I listen to a movie, I feel a lack of high frequencies. I seem to lose the voices of the characters in the lower frequencies of music and special effects. Does the addition of a RC-62 center speaker will help me to balance my system? Off-Topic: is it normal that I can't see any prices or a way to order on Klipsch website? Thank you for your help!
