  1. I've had them since '87 and the one speaker has acted like this for at least 10 years regardless of the configuration/components used.
  2. I have a pair of Forte's from the 80's. In order to get one of them working I have to crank the volume and then turn it back down. It's kinda like giving the speaker a jump start. Bad cap?
  3. I have a pair of oak Forte's I bought from the Navy Exchange in Japan in 1987. They've been back and forth across the Pacific a couple times and are a little dinged up. I also think one of my mids are out. I live about 30 minutes from the Klipsch factory in Indianapolis. Is there a program or method to return speakers for refurbishment? thanks Syb
  4. I've had my Forte's since '87. I think one of them doesn't have quite the response or coverage as the other one. It just doesn't sound right and I can't determine what freq range is low or missing. Is there any way to determine this with some sort of meter? Thanks
