Give me the the best cheapest mods for these excellent speakers. i am rebuilding the risers, they were damaged by water, the corners were swollen. made new ones from 2x4 lumber and will rout the top to match the originals, then add the oak veneer. Thanks for any help or suggestions to get the most from them.

recently saw some heresy's for sale..."an audio engineer has modified them with bass ports in the rear to enhance the fidelity" any credence to this claim?

I just snagged a pair of Frazier mark iv-a speakers, they are missing the front grills. if anyone has pictures of these early models please post them for me, i will be rebuilding these to look like originals I think these are cherry veneer. very nice light color they sound fantastic
