  2. So, I was able to trace his old number to a Robert Nipple (yeah, appropriate name) I sent him a picture of his own mugshot and he ditched the 482-1181 number in favor of a new one which is a google voice number that he's been giving out. I also sent him his current address on NW 22nd St..... no reply only a number change. Maybe it was the 10,000 SMS bomb I sent him that helped changed the phone number as well LOL

These have been posted numerous times on eBay, he will try to get you to send money via paypal to coastal2201@gmail.com . My buddy fell

for the trap and sent him $150.00, the rest payable upon pickup (obviously a dumb move). Ebay account was closed, phone number was a burner

and now they're re-listed for someone else to get ripped off.

  4. Those would probably work quite well, unfortunately my journeys only take me to Denver & LA (by plane), rarely (once every 5 years) drive out of Florida on anything other than a motorcycle LOL

That said, if anyone is headed down South I'd be willing to throw some cash their way for transport!

What are the dimensions/weight of those? Maybe Greyhound freight isn't a bad idea, I know guys on here have shipped Cornwalls before.

  5. I have three table setups with various Klipsch speakers, my main system consists of:

VPI Scout w/ JMW Tonearm and Dynavector 20XH Cart (sitting on a Boo's 18x24" butcher block which itself rests upon 4 x washing machine anti-vibration pads)

    Lehmann Cube Preamp

Marantz SR7001 (7.1 HT but puts out GREAT clean power)

Speakers: Front A: Cornwall 1.5s w/ Crites diaphragm upgrades Front B: Heresey III (I run this in A+B equal power and sounds phenomenal!) Surrounds (KG2) and Center (Academy) and Sub (Paradigm Servo 15a) are disabled when listening to vinyl.

This setup is amazing, I really can't say I've ever heard Zappa, Slayer, Maiden or Zeppelin sound better. @fenderbender can attest to that!

I recently upgraded from the Dynavector 10x5 to the 20xH and it made a WORLD of difference. There is a blackness I've NEVER heard before (isn't that the point?!?!?!?) in between the tracks and there is a separation of the instruments that sounds natural. The biggest wow factor was listening to Skynard's Second Helping LP, I sat back in the chair, closed my eyes and was instantly taken back to my first concert that I could remember at some outdoor amphitheater in Cuyahoga Park... it sounded that god damned good!

Def. go with a nice Dynavector on a VPI if you listen to rock, nothing sounds better IMHO.

  6. I've been rocking a pair of KP-320s in my shop for a few years now and love them but the itch for a little more low end has come.

I'm looking to add the passive KP-115-SW bass bins to the equation. I'd prefer a local pair south of Orlando, but if I come across

the right price and shipping isn't too bad I'll do that as well.

    Thanks!

  7. :-) Yeah I opened up a data center out there, go out about one week per month if I can :-) Neighbors already asked me to not listen to Slayer so loud after 10pm :-)

Not used to apartments, haven't lived in one in 12 years!

  8. Yes I do still have both :-)

I've acquired some new different stuff recently:

    Denver Apartment:

    Nikko Integrated

    Corn IIs (still stock)

    Rega P3 w/ Dynavector 10x5

    Office in Miami:

    Outlaw RR2150
HBR (New motor boards and HIII upgrade kit)

    Denon DP-1200 w/ Dynavector 10x5

    Home Theater:

    Yamaha HDMI thingy
HBR (New motor boards and HIII upgrade kit)

    Academy Center

    Servo 15a (from you)

    Home Office:

    Marantz SR8002 or something

Corn 1.5s, H3s (A+B config, makes perfect sound for some slayer/iron maiden) Academy Center and KG 2s for the rears

    VPI Scout w/ Dynavector 20XH

and..... Servo 15a (from a guy in Miami)

These Corns would actually be for a friend of mine who is just getting into more than iPods and MP3s ;-) I'm looking to pick up

another VPI to replace the Denon at my office, maybe a good priced Scout or a HW-19 III or higher. Had my eye on an Oracle Delphi MK II as well.

  9. Nice PM, CD previewing at the one of your vinyl templesWink I've never seen you take a bad shot of gear in how many years is it now? Anyway my latest acquisitions have been new power for the Las and a secondary video set up in Cave De Kaiser, picked up the Jolida FX-10 after all the print hype and I must say she is pretty sweet and refined as opposed to the Qinpu A-3 I had been driving them with (Qinpu currently my desktop headphone amp at the office) which has proven to be no slouch in either case but the Jolida does sound more refined and a we bit more powerful on the Las. Keep'em coming gang as "Show me yer 2 channel" is a candy store for the eyesBig Smile

    Friggin' laser beams for eyes!

Just finished my "vintage" 2-channel setup for the pool room.

    Marantz 4270 Quad-Channel

    TubeDAC-01A

    Denon DP-1200 w/ DynaVector 10x5

    Pioneer DVL-909 for CD Playback

Cornwals (courtesy of Carl in Sanford)

KP-320s (Probably gonna put these on the selling block soon, taking up too much space)

  10. In my living room I have two receivers, Marantz SR7001 for home theater usage and an Outlaw R2150 for 2 channel goodness.

I use a single sub-out (LFE) on each receiver to a Paradigm Servo 15 and at this point, I just swap the cable when I want to go back and forth between the two receivers.

Any thoughts on an auto-sensing selector/switcher for this, I tried using a Male to 2 x Female Y-cable, but the Marantz shorts the sub channel when turned off, so there is a humming in the background which is unacceptable.

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide on this!
