  1. Thanks. The 20D is getting long in the tooth. I don't shoot that much any more so I don't have a good excuse to upgrade. The 5D series with the full-frame sensors and 1080p video is where it is at these days.
  2. Today is the big day! R&L gave me a nice fat 10 am - 2 pm delivery window. Psh.
  3. I'm with ya... not exactly pleased about having those things sit on a dock for two days, but I don't have many options. They offered to come tomorrow, but I am slammed at work and won't be around. Wednesday it is!
  4. Haha. Luckily we have an elevator. Getting them to the elevator will be the challenge. Got a call from R&L about an hour ago... they will be delivered on Wednesday. D'oh. Oh well, I can wait a few more days...
  5. "Arrived at destination terminal" last night! I'm hoping the call comes in today. It feels like christmas!
  6. That's what I am hoping for! I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to get those beasts from the loading dock up into my 7th floor apartment. I'll have to hunt down a dolly or something. The boxes look huge.
  7. RF-7 II's in cherry are on their way. I can't wait to get the call from the freight company! I became a Klipsch believer with the purchase of the RB-61 II's that I currently use. I can't wait to hear the 7's.
  8. I am going to repost my comment from a similar thread in the Garage Sale section: I absolutely love my tube amp from Glow Audio. They can be found at http://www.glow-audio.com/home.html. Single ended triode (SET), all point-to-point wired. Very low noise. I think they run for about $800 these days. 5 watts per channel doesn't sound like a lot, but with efficient Klipsch speakers, that little box rocks the house. I run it with RB-61 II's, and I just pulled the trigger on some RF-7 II's. The RF7's should be loud as all hell.
