You should be able to find something fine n dandy on amazon. I don't think there are any different ratings for HDMI cables for in the wall installations.

Yer probably right since klipsch uses the horn tweeter. It could be done, but the dimensions wouldn't make it worth it most likely.that would look funny i think.

^^^how about an RC-63? =^P

I haven't really messed with it at all. I ran the Audyssey and have been pleased with the sound. It seems to have blended in with everything quite nicely. I use my HT for 80% movies, 19% gaming and 1% music, approximately =^P

I took another round of pics with the grills off. Here is a link to my facebook if you want to take a look =^)

^^^I agree with him. Go with the bluray player for now so that will be one less thing you need to worry about upgrading when you do go to HD.
-
^^^I'm always iffy when it comes to buying refurbs, but those prices look very nice.

Out of curiosity, why don't you stick with Onkyo?
-
Yes, but not in the same way =^PDo you think your ears change over time like your taste buds do?
-
Shouldn't matter except that your stereo imaging will be reversed (if I'm understanding your post right). If you play video games, something that happens on the right is going to come out of the speaker sitting on your left. Music won't matter so much.

This is really going to come down to whether or not you like bipoles or directional for your listening. I don't think it's going to come down to whether or not they are being overpowered...bipoles are designed to envelope you in the sound more than directional. It really just comes down to your preference...If possible, try to find a place that will let you try some out, or go into a store that you can listen to some to see which you may prefer.

A new TV is next on the list. I just got all this installed yesterday. All wires in the wall, It looks nice and clean.
Very nice ivan! Your stand is from the same mfg. as mine, Sunny Designs of California (Sedona Collection) just a slightly different model. You have good taste!
Thank you =^) We actually have a few other pieces from that line as well. The pic where it shows the rear surrounds, the drawer thingy is from that line as well as a couple of end tables. We just really liked the stone accents in the pieces.
Ha, that TV stand is quite large. The pics didn't really come thru very well either due to lack of lighting in our living room. I just took some more pics with the grills off, I think they look way better that way, but with a 1 year old running around I gotta keep em on. Here are the pics: (dang I need a new camera =^/)A new TV is next on the list. I just got all this installed yesterday. All wires in the wall, It looks nice and clean.
The height of the entertainment center throws off the scale of the speakers and sub. At first I thought you had RF-52s and an SW-110!

I personally say save until you can get the system you really want.

*some day*
That's a really nice set up. Party at your house!

Anybody good with photoshop? I'd be more worried about me messing with the volume control. "Lemme see what these babys can do..."Can't wait to see pictures of that room. Keep the kids away from the volume control or forfeit your hearing.

I posted pics in the post pics of your ht thread. I want to take another round of pics with the grills off tho...Ok sounds good.

Ain't that the truth. It'd totally be worth it tho.

^^^Oh my =^o
They would get built into the walls, and there they would stay.
Built in to the wall, heck, they are the walls!
Ha ha, true enough.

Awesome. The front panel on the RF-7's are definitely darker than the RF-83's. The RF-83's are more grey in color instead of deep black. You can see in the first image below the RF-83's are a lighter shade than the RF-7's.

What's a meter? =^P
Are you able to save up for a little bit so you can go with the 52 system with a sub? Or if you go with the 52 system now, would you start saving for a sub? If not, I agree with the above person and go with the 42 system and the sub.

I paid less than $20 for all my wall plates.Wall plates can get up there but you can switch the plates and blank offs between spots.
NAD M25 comparisons

I was looking at NAD amps, and came across the M25. I was thinking, hmm, this might work very well with my system and then I saw the price and maybe a touch too much power...Does anybody know of any 7 channel amps that have somewhat similar specs that are a bit more affordable? Maybe I'm looking at too much power and I don't really need that much...I'm sure for my space I don't, but I like the idea of future proofing. I'm just getting headaches looking at amps and processors. Before coming to this forum I had decided I was going to go with the Onkyo 818 when it came out, but with all that I've learned about the power ratings from AVRs vs amps, it just seems like you get a lot more for your money by going with separates. There are just so many different brands out there, I'm at a bit of a loss where to start... All of my speakers handle 150RMS according to the specs on the Klipsch website.
