I tend to prefer consoles just for the simple fact that you don't have to upgrade them.

I'm not crafty at all. Milk crates wouldn't be a bad idea actually with some fabric over them. Unfortunately things are getting a bit worse, but the lease is almost up on this apartment so I can finally get out of here and get a place to let my speakers roam at least.

This is what I used for the RB-81IIs: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002UV03MW/ref=oh_details_o02_s01_i02?ie=UTF8&psc=1. You have the option to screw them in to anchor them more, but it's not necessary. This is what I used for my RS-62IIs: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00009W5X2/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. It uses the 4 holes on the back of the 62, not sure about a 2 hole option. Looks like they aren't available on amazon any more, but maybe you can find them, or something similar with a search?

Hey everyone, I haven't been on the site in some time. My poor speakers are boxed away in a closet at the moment because of a life situation I had to move into a tiny apartment and didn't really have room to set them up. I'm now looking for a place to buy so I can hopefully break them free from their prison soon. Probably going to be looking for some stands for the RB-81IIs and RS-62IIs. I have wall mounts, but depending on the place I end up getting, this might not be the best option, so I'm looking for suggestions to see if anybody has discovered any good stand options for these speakers in the last couple years. Thanks for the help~

Tough choice. I would want the newest thing too, although I'm sure the 105 would be a cinch to sell if you did end up wanting the new thing. I think Oppos renew every 2 years tho.
