  4. Herb Alpert went on to marry Lani Hall of Brasil '66. Alpert and Hall are still performing together today.
  5. After the huge success of The Lonely Bull, Herb Alpert called the crew back in to the studio and paid them all union scale for the The Lonely Bull Sessions. They went on and cut this hugely successful lp.
  6. Hello George, Yes, my Linn is an old friend and my all time favorite. It has earned semi-retirement. I use it with my trusty Cornwalls and Heresy's system. My main TT is now the VPI Prime which is with the Klipschorn system.

  8. No, the recording studio for the album. The TV show was overdubs and lip syncing. In fairness to Nesmith and Tork, they were musicians. Micky Dolez was given drum lessons by the studio. On a side note Stephen Stills auditioned for the part but Tork got it.

  11. When Herb Alpert called them in to play on this, his first record, he couldn't afford to pay the union scale. They all agreed to take 25 bucks cash.
