My friends and I were just camping west of Missoula, and we're talking about when he played as the house band in Livingston Montana, when they filmed the movie Ranch Delux there. Not only a wonderful musician, but a very astute business man. Bought his records in the late 70's through the 80's. Some fun tunes. " Yes I am a pirate, 200 years too late, the cannons don't thunder, there's nothin' to plunder, I'm an over 40 victim of fate, arriving too late, arriving to late. I've done a bit of smugglin' run my share of grass I made enough money to buy Miami but I pissed it away so fast Never ment to last never ment to last" RiP Jimmy.

After the huge success of The Lonely Bull, Herb Alpert called the crew back in to the studio and paid them all union scale for the The Lonely Bull Sessions. They went on and cut this hugely successful lp.

Hello George, Yes, my Linn is an old friend and my all time favorite. It has earned semi-retirement. I use it with my trusty Cornwalls and Heresy's system. My main TT is now the VPI Prime which is with the Klipschorn system.

Sure! Those shows were great fun. I loved them. Well done getting a UPS. It just paid for itself! Cheers!

No, the recording studio for the album. The TV show was overdubs and lip syncing. In fairness to Nesmith and Tork, they were musicians. Micky Dolez was given drum lessons by the studio. On a side note Stephen Stills auditioned for the part but Tork got it.

Peter Tork and Micheal Nesmith were outraged that weren't allowed to play on thier own record.

Carol kaye created a timeless opening on Witchita Lineman which opens side 1...

When Herb Alpert called them in to play on this, his first record, he couldn't afford to pay the union scale. They all agreed to take 25 bucks cash.
