I have a set of KLF 30 for sale they were used for about 3 months before I replaced them with some Belles, I dont want to see them go but I am going to buy me a pair of La Scalas for my 2 channel Audio setup I am in Texas and would like someone to come pick them up I dont want to pack them up dont trust UPS unless we can make arrangements I might be able to deliver them up to 50 miles. thanks if you have any questions or need pics I can send some to you

I did cause a stir now that you remind me... but it wasnt meant to be taken where it went. Im just looking for something for my pc at work I had a set of Monsoon MM1100 or something like that but I sold them for some logitech that are just terrible the sats sound like crap the sub is ok. just wanted to get a better system for the office not to rattle the walls. at home Im set... btw we did build that DECWARE WICKED ONE and it really fit in just right.

If I go buy this infinity sub what satellites can I use with it? I have a pair of monsoon 1000 and they sound ok but wanted to upgrade to GMX 2.1 any hints on how to hook this thing up to my pc?

Boomer Sorry but Im still pissed but I always will, but thats my personal problem. and as far as me not liking Klipsch I dont think that is entirely true I have always and will always own Klipsch. I have owned Fortes, Quartets, Cornwall, Heresy, Belle, LaScala, KLF20, KLF30, RB5, KG2.2 Center, KLFC7, and in the past I had some old Klipsch Sub that was just a ported box with two ports on it and I think I remember seeing 2 8 inch drivers inside of it, that thing was a cute little thing. dont remember the model number on it. I dont have promedia on my pc because I think that my Parts Express $100.00 sub and a pair of Monsoon MM1000 Monitors do better for 2.1 sound. and as far as me having problems with speakers blowing up around me is because I like to play my music loud LOUD and sometimes things have to break but I always fix the things back up, I have always built speakers and have taken speakers apart just to see what the heck these companies put in their boxes an am really surprised of the junk that some of these companies put in a box and place their name on. wait I shouldnt say that because its wrong .. well my problem comes in when I start banging on my set of Tamas and they drown out my speakers i hate that, we all get together and Jam out and you cant hear no La Scala no Belle no nothing. and then you throw in a bottle of the good ol Scotch into the picture and all hell breaks loose call me an AudioPhool expect my home speakers to sound like live music. thats why those CV cabinets with some peavey tops sound good to me. BTW I have taken my pair of WO32 and placed them back in the house they do sound good and hold a drink rather well http://www.decware.com/wicked1.htm except that Im not using a parts express plate amp I hooked them up to a pair of Microtech 1200 and they sound fine. I sent a couple of pics up so in case your in south texas some day and you see that thing in the street that would be me. thats where my loyalty lies but have to be realistic about things. the CVS do sound good outdoors much better than anything else I have tried out. now if this post offends anyone well then I just cant post then.. thanks folks

Boomer I really dont care... My butt is buried so what... just not posting my opinion no more.... everyone here knows everything what could I possibly know.. that you guys dont already... so what drivers are in those Klipsch SUBS anyway?

you are probably correct but I move my stuff in and out of the house and for that application the HGS and SVS dont hold a candle to the CV sub. actually I think that the belles sound better outdoors than they do indoors. but that is my opinion. I am looking to buy some commercial Klipsch La Scalas to use outdoors strictly I have seen some that the tops come off the horn box. but I have not found any. I have never had a chance to audition any of the Klipsch Subs at my house so I dont know how they sound I have heard one in a friends house and it sounds ok. does anyone know what kind of speaker is in the Klipsch sub and what amp do they use? I really dont even know if Klipsch makes their subs? Im sure someone can educate me on this.

when u get a chance audition a hgs18 that will make you think twice about the rsw15... that is one cheaply made box and the driver is even worse, what kind of amp is on that thing anyway I have not had a chance or misfortune of ever owning a Klipsch SUB but have friends that do have them and they just dont seem to do well with Heritage series speakers way too slow.... but if you like it fine....

I really dont care what other people say its just that they take their equipment too serious, and I wasnt just calling other peoples equipment junk mine too the HGS18 and SVS after tonight too probably. I think is just that I dont agree with other peoples opinion its funny what we own is always the best.. I would never buy another Velo and a SVS thats a ripoff.... if you ever get close to one take it apart and check out the high quality stuff that they threw in there. I dont care anymore..

any ideas on how to build a horn for this trunk in this car... got some plans but nothing for sure yet right now it just has a small dual 10" band pass box with some old Kappa Pro 10s and they sound good but cars are another world. anyone done anything with klipsch stuff in their cars?

NO FLAME WAR FROM ME //// Klipsch still Rules.... but their subs suck .... and was never happy with HGS or the SVS but that is just my opinion always wanted horns for subs and the CVs really hit the spot thats all believe me if Klipsch made a decent horn enclosure for a sub I would trash everything and buy one. I have and always will love building cabinets and some of the old **** that I have can stand up to anything out there now and forever. I have some old transmission line speakers that are about 20 yrs old that sound better now than they did then and I just have them with a little 8X2 watt tube amp. SORRY if I pissed anyone off.

we built one of these and it sounds pretty good but not what I wanted I want a Rock.. yeah yeah yeah http://www.decware.com/whorn.htm this is enough for anyone.. and the HGS now belongs to my daughter she loves that thing but she is 11 and she now has a pair of old lascalas with the HGS18 listening to EMINEM that **** sounds pretty damn good. but anyway not trying to start no war just voicing out an opinion.
