hey there is there any way to hook up the Belles and a pair of Lascalas in Parallel maybe that will be loud enuff for me. I do have a pair of old Lascalas sitting in my living room.

talked to klipsch today and I ordered 2 new K33 for 200.00 $100.00 ea good deal I also left a msg for the tech dept. to see what they thought would have killed the speaker. I think it was my stupidity I had the Bass all the way up on the Preamp (adcom GTP-830) and the Treble about 75% of the way I usually keep them both at 75% of the way on both when I use the KLF30 and they seem to survive just fine. I think that with the new SVS 25-31 Ultra + duals I will be fine. I hope I think that the Amp is a pretty good amp at least thats what B&K tells me. Im thinking about going over all my interconnects and speaker wire when I get the new K33s in. and changing the DVD Player too it sucks.

ooooh the unthinkable my Belles (1981) this Saturday night I noticed where not sounding up to their standard I lowered the volume and noticed that there was no Bass coming out of the cabinets 8( I didnt know whether to stop drinking my scotch or pour another even stronger one. I looked behind and maybe thought the cables had come lose from the back of the xover but no the k33 were in fact dead I opened the hatch at the bottom and tested them and there was no sound coming out of either one. any ideas what could have caused the sudden death of both of them I have a B&K REF 3220 Amp it drives the 2 Belles and 1 KLFC7 is the amp clipping possibly at loud levels? help ! I dont want this to happen again

that is exactly my feeling too and I thought I was going deaf I have the Belles cranked up louder than my KLF my preamp was at most -4 now I find it set at 0 most of the time when Im Jamming. any explanation for this?

Letting the Days go by. these Khorns are in Houston and will still be there till this guy dies it seems like. but hey who cares. I Have Belles but no Khorns maybe some other day.

Ok so what do you guys think of adding a pair of SVS Subs to the system, I talked to tom at SVS and he recommended a pair of SVSCS+ 25-31 with the Samson 1000 he told me that my sub (Velo HGS12 is being overmatched by the Belles ?) just how loud do we need for out Stereos to go? till our ears bleed? why not. ck out the great decor in my room. still working on at least fixing the damn cables

am I going deaf from cranking my sound up too loud or why is it that my pair of KLF 30 appear to sound louder than my Belles? also would I do anything to the response of the belles if set them up off the ground since most of the time my position in relation to the speakers is standing up the tweets are about waist level or lower. I always thought that speakers had to have tweets at ear level. DB Meter = 110DB any good websites to test my hearing. Main Amp = B&K REF3220

sorry folks but my Khorn guy backed out on me. he said that he decided to keep the Khorns. he told me that maybe some other time he could sell them. so sorry for not selling my belles now.

I just came across a pair of Khorns that Im really interested in buying but I just bought some Belles about a month ago. does anyone want to buy a pair of Belles and a pair of KLF 30 so I can buy my Khorns... I really dont want to sell any of that stuff but I cant afford to have all that hardware.

How can I take apart my Belles to see the status of the Drivers I can get to the horns without a problem (duhh) but I want to ck the K33. I just bought these things a couple of weeks ago and they sound great. but Since everything I owned in the past I have managed to destroy god knows who owned them before me they are from 1980. just a thought.

I think that the C7 is lagging behind the Belles so I mean (bad) it shouldnt I dont think so Im thinking about maybe remapping my system any ideas ? I have a KLFC7 Center Channel that has become virtually invisible there is a pair of Heresy II on ebay for sale and opinions on how good one of these would be for center channel? Klipsch Belles for Mains B&K REF 3220 driving them and the KLFC7

I think Im going to get me a pair of LaScalas the same guy I bought the Belles from has a pair for 7Bills and they are in great shape the horn has a crack on it where could I buy the horn K55 not the driver. I could use one of those for a Center and another one for rear center. or use them for the back I kinda like one KLF30 for center now.

well I wish I could put the TV on top a Belle for center but I have it mounted on the Wall it is a 50" Plasma. Im looking at a Cornwall for a Center Channel even though the KLFCT is sounding ok for now. I will post a pic of the system soon

I posted this topic earlier before listening to the Belles and now That I have heard them. WOW what a difference now I realize how GOOD the Belles really are not to put down my KLF30s but they really dont compare at all. the sound is out of this world really glad I bought these things Im Heritage Forever now. now If I could replace my KLFC7 with something else. btw my B&K 3220 sounds fine with the Belles I think I need a new DVD Player any ideas on a good one I play DVD concerts and movies also play music cds there too.

I currently have a pair of KLF 30 that are great speakers but the chance has come to pick up a pair of 1985 Klipsch Belle everyone I talk to says go for it and Im going to and believe me Im running to them. here is the question people say to buy a tube amp for the belles I currently have a B&K Reference 3220 and a B&K ST1400II driving a pair of RB5 for Rear channel will I notice any improvement given the solid state amp I like to play my music loud LOUD LOUD and what is the correct placement for Belles room is 25 X 20 they are going on the 20' side of the room. thanks

Im currently trying to purchase some LaScalas how can I tell how old they are and where can I buy any upgrades to the Xover I know I heard of one Xover that is supposedly better than the original. Im replacing my KLF 30's with the Lascalas is this a good choice I like my music loud LOUD LOUDs> I drive the KLF30 with B&K 3220 will this AMP perform well with the LasCala? thanks

what do you guys think of maybe just an EQ I have always had that in my years past.. who makes a good EQ? I had a TASCAM in the past am I a pain in the *** or wHAT?

A Bryston Amp or a Celeste Amp my BK REF3220 is a 3 channel amp should I replace that with a 2 channel amp and use the 3220 to drive the surrounds and the center surrounds = RB5 Center = KLFC7 I have never heard of Celeste. Im still waiting for 1 of the KLF tweets to return from Klipsh I actually thought of upgrading the tweets in the 30s or maybe just adding some tweets to the room but I dont know how that will make things better. I will look into a Bryston on Ebay I guess. I know some of you guys love your music loud and know where Im coming from.. I hope
