  1. I would wiggle all the wires going into the speakers. Especially the one from your pc to the sub. The connectors have had problems in the past. Is the connector a straight or 90 degree connector? Plug in some headphones into the pc and see if you have both channels to eliminate that. Make sure your connected to the right connection on the audio out on your pc. Switch the small speakers to be sure its that channel. If none of the suggestions work then you probably have an issue with the amp inside the sub. Good luck
  2. Thank you so much to everyone for taking the time to answer my question. It is greatly appreciated.
  3. Im running them in two channel stereo. My room is 10x15 feet and I need a new integrated.Im looking at a Yamaha a-s700sl.Is it a good choice? There are many nice amps under a grand to choose from.Anyone have outlaw audio?I want it to play loud as hell without distortion.Solid state is fine for me.
  4. I have a pair of 82,s and they just don't sound right.Im pretty sure its my old amp which puts out 63 watts per.I also have an eq with it.Can anyone help me choose a sub 1000 dollar amp that will awaken them? There are many to choose from but im not sure which would be best. Thanks
  5. Can anyone recommend a good receiver for my speakers?Im running an old onkyo amp with 68 watts per channel and I have an eq with it and it just doesn't sound very good. The amp is 40 years old or so and has had repairs in the past to fix a bad channel. It was only fixed and that's it.My buddy has a cheapo teac receiver and a pair of old AR speakers and his sound great.Im wondering if I made a mistake buying the speakers.I was going to buy cerwin vega before deciding on these.
