SOLD: Cary CAD-300 SEI tube integrated with upgraded tubes
Breakdown7 replied to Breakdown7's topic in Garage Sale
Man, the market is dry at the moment. I thought this sweet integrated would be gone already, especially priced below 3 grand. This one retails at $5650. And I am including $875 worth of extra tube upgrades. How about $2650 + shipping and PayPal fees?? -

SOLD: I am offering my Cary 300SEI for sale. It is in excellent condition and comes with two sets of upgraded tubes. One pair of Sophia Electric 300b mesh plates and a pair of Psvane black bottle 300B-T in their factory box. The three factory 6SN7's are included. The amp is in excellent condition with no scratches or dings. Absolutely stunning "Jaguar Blue" high gloss chassis is beautiful in person. Can't really capture how nice it looks from my camera. I am the second owner. Remote and original owners manual are also included. Always used in a smoke/pet free home. I can do $2800 and split the shipping charges with the new owner. If buyer chooses to use PayPal, please figure in the 3.5% fee.

SOLD: McIntosh tube system, fully restored by NOS Valves, beautiful!
Breakdown7 replied to Breakdown7's topic in Garage Sale
Although I would love to sell this system as a whole, breaking it up may be inevitable. Feel free to PM me with questions/interest about each unit in which you might have interest. They are all in equally wonderful condition. I was just listening to the system this morning with my Tyler Acoustics PD15's. The soundstage is huge guys. The system has to be heard to be truly appreciated. Anyone local to the north Florida area is always welcome to stop by for an audition. -
SOLD: McIntosh tube system, fully restored by NOS Valves, beautiful!

Located in Gainesville, FL. I may be willing to separate the units. However, I would like to give it a week or so and allow members a shot at this system as a whole. It would be a shame to break it up. -
SOLD! Okay guys, my wife and I are in the market to buy a home and recently put in an offer for a place slightly above our budget. In order to make things easier, I have decided to offer my beautiful McIntosh system for sale. It breaks my heart to sell this, but more important priorities are coming into the picture. This system is comprised of a MC240, C22 and MR71. All three units were treated to the "deluxe restoration" by Craig at NOS Valves, costing me over $1800 when also figuring the AudioClassics crates and shipping charges both ways. The restoration receipts will be included. All three units are in absolutely beautiful condition inside and out. The lettering is wonderful, and the glass faceplates are original. I have the tube cage and original manual for the MC240. I am including all the original parts which were replaced by Craig for all three units. The C22 comes with the 6 original Telefunken 12AX7 tubes. The MR71 also comes with all the original tubes, which tested great. The MC240 will come with a matched quad of GE 6L6GC output tubes. The MC240's input tubes are late 50's Mullard 12AU7's, RCA 12BH7's and JAN Philips 12AX7's. All three units will come shipped in an AudioClassics crate, fully insured for safe travel to their next home. There is way too much info and pics to list here, so anyone interested is more than welcome to PM me so we can speak over the phone, send more pics, etc. $7500 for the whole system. These pieces are only appreciating in value, so this is a wise investment. I have only put around 300 hours on the system since the restoration work was completed. SOLD!

I'm open to offers or trades before it goes to ebay. Can't believe no one needs such a nice McIntosh piece in their collection. -

Yea guys, she is a beautiful tuner and sounds great. I am looking at Soundsmith cartridges...who wants this unit? -
Regretfully, I am selling my beautiful MR71 tube tuner that is in excellent condition, inside and out. I had an accident with my MC cartridge last night and ripped off the Soundsmith ruby cantilever. Beings I listen to records 90% of the time, I have decided to let go of this tuner to fund another cartridge purchase. All the original factory tubes are included. I bought this from the original owner and sent it off to Craig at NOS Valves for his "Deluxe Restoration". Just got it back last month actually. The new owner will receive a copy of the restoration receipt, detailing the work which cost me around $350. Craig said all the original tubes tested great, and that the unit appeared to be used very little. I will also include all the original parts which were replaced by Craig. The unit will come shipped in an Audio Classics crate, double boxed and insured for safe travel. I can do $1200 shipped.

VPI - HRX Stainless Steel Center Weight NO LONGER FOR SALE
Breakdown7 replied to A1UC's topic in Garage Sale
Thank you. I will do some research and see if one of these will be good weight for my Garrard 301. Wouldn't want to cause too much stress to the bearings on this old idler drive. Of course this weight is ideal for VPI owners. I almost bought one these back when I had my VPI Classic. It seems so much faster than using the factory screw down Delran clamp. -
