A big shout out loud thanks to Brandon for including me into the deal that got Scrappy his RC-64. Chicago isn’t a small area, and I’m sure it took several hours of driving to get the speakers and then carrying and storing them. Brandon, it was nice to meet you, your wife and daughter and thanks for your hospitality. I was very impressed with your system. Not since the mid-80s have I seen the entire Klipsch Heritage Series in one room. Even then, they didn’t have them displayed nearly as well. I’ll get Lori to book another marathon in your area, so I’ll have an excuse to come by for another jam session. B)

Also, I’m sure you’ll let me know if I can pick something up for you in this area.

    Thanks again,

    James

PS Lori believes they should stay at her place.

  2. Hi Katie, welcome to the forum and I’m really sorry about your uncle. To expedite the why you’re here: time of year and how fast you need them to move will also play a part in the sale. As Billy said: the willingness to ship will make a difference. Quite often, thEbay has a large crowd of shoppers and you might fetch a better price. FYI: the system you have is nice and it took a lot on coinage to buy. The down side is there aren’t very many people with the desire, $ and neighbors far enough away to let these cut-loose and sing like they were designed to.

I hope this helps, you should be able to see past sales….

  3. "Klipsch Cornwall - i think 1984. Very nice condition 8/10. Purchased from an AK member in Jul listened to it (for) about 2 hours and now need to sell - $560"

They're not mine, but are on another forum. I'll be happy to pass any interest along.

  4. "Up for auction, a Pair of EV Sentry IVB Speaker Systems. Tested, we beleive one or both of unit one speaker's woofer suspensions have disconected from thier respective baskets. We were unable to break open the cabinets to investigate furthur without damaging them more. Both units sound good when passing music but on straight tone we can guess the above. The other unit sounds fair but the woofers will probably need to be refoamed. This unit's quarter inch plug came unpluged from its wire, it can be reinstalled. Both horns and tweeters on both units sound good: passing audio well. Cosmetically, the cabinets are in poor condition and are damaged on almost every exterior surface. There is also what appears to be paint spray coating the interior and exteriors of the cabinets. Both units are very dirty. Both speakers are being sold as is. Please review all photos posted and contact us with any questions."

OMG, $20?? If I could, I would get these for the garage.
