  1. I also noticed more detail in shadowed areas

That is what is most important to me, being able to see details behind the blacks. I will consider the calibration. Right now I am concentrating on mounting it. I wasent going to do that, but the way my tv stand is it is blocking 1/3 of my center channel. So Im going to mount the tv and use my tv stand for my components and put my center on top..

  2. The reason I bought this model was that it was on sale for 700 off! Party!!! It is coming from a Magnolia store. The regular stores don't have this model.

Oh man, it was on Amazon when I bought it for $1700.00. So I got priced match $800.00 off. I just checked Amazon right now they raised the price to $2065.25.. You are still getting an incredible deal!! Are you going to get it calibrated?

  3. I love my Panasonic 60" GT50! Best tv I've owned. Even better picture once I got it calibrated. If you're looking to get the best outta your screen I recommend getting a calibration.

What is the main difference you see from the non calibrated to the calibrated pana?

  4. Does anyone out there know f a good but cheap TV stand that can hold my 60 inch Pana and will accomadate my RC62II? what I have right now http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Init%26%23153%3B+-+TV+Stand+for+Most+Flat-Panel+TVs+Up+to+55%22/8193536.p?id=1165609791259&skuId=8193536&st=init&cp=1&lp=5

I really like stand! The problem is that I have nowhere to put my center but on the second shelf. the problem is that the top bar covers 1/3 of the speaker.. Any suggestions? I have always gotten great answers to my questions here, and I cant wait to see your recomendations..

    Thank you all in advance!!

  5. Yesterday I bought the Panasonic 60GT50. I love it! I got it to go together with my RF-52II system that I got earlier this month. Finally today I orderd Versace Bright Crystal perfume for my wife. Maybe like that she will stop giving me a hard time about the money I spent on my system.

  6. Agghhh!! This is what I did last night before i read the 2 replys before this. Ok, I ended up setting my RF52s and RC62 as large. Then I changed the setting on my receiver to what is called extra bass. This is so that both the sub and all 3 front speakers produce some bass. Lastly I lowered the overal bass setting on my speakers to about 4. I did this so that my front speakers wouldent produce to much bass and my subs wil still do what they can. I was pretty satisfied with this setting. Now, I am being advised to go with small setting, I will probobly go back to that after I listen to the setting I have now so that I can compare more.

  7. Should I set my receiver to distribute low frequency to my RF52s and RC62 or should I only let my sub handle that? In order to do that, I would have to set my front speakers as large on my receiver. Does anyone know the pros and cons of this? How do most of you have it set up? Also if I do change it to large I have the option of setting it so that both my action speakers and sub will reproduce the bass. Any advice would help. I have a lower end Yamaha sub and polk PSW111. I just want to make sure that I am getting the best out of my system. Thank you all .

  8. I only ask because my rears are never as loud as my front speakers. I dont know if its because they are smaller than my fronts or because they are using less power? Wouldent it be that the front speakers will have more sound only because of the size? Does that mean my front speakers are only going to sound as good as mu RS-42II?

  9. Just hooked everything up yesterday night! Without tweaking my system at all it sounded great!! Even my wife who only has a little appreciation for audio had a big smile on her face. She notided the difference right away. We played some music Pink Floyed, Doors, Eagles and some Jazz. We also watched the Walking Dead and Some trailers. The system is more that what I was expecting. Do I need to give the system a break in Period? What is the best way to go about this? Also should I change the settings on my receiver for my front towers to large? I havent tried it yet but when I have done this in the past I notice my subs will not be as loud as they usually are. Any advise will help. Thank you all in advance.

  10. Sorry about that. Well, good and cheap just good enough for that system. I would say under a thousand. but if there is something out there for $400 that would do the job I would look into that to. Just the same something over my budget I would consider. I wish I could go high end, but I am a poor man.

  11. Looking to upgrade my RX-V371 entry level Yamaha. I just bought 2 RF52II, 2 RS42II and RC-62II. I would like something with 3d pass though. I am upgrading tv next month. Also enough power to run this system. My current receiver is 100/5 but I think it is actually 80 RMS. I would also like something cheap but good, like my wife. I am on a budget. Thank you all in advance.
