  1. I have a set up of L,C,R Reality cables by Gregg Straley. Bannanas on one end, spades on the other. Left and Right cables are 8ft, Center is 6ft. Very nice cables, I think in particular they do a nice job adding some separation in the midrange and a bit of detail. Also included are 3 jumpers. Retail on these is $580.00. Asking $250.00. Thanks! paypal with no fees and I will include shipping continental USA.
  2. Just wondering if anyone has much experience with the Zu audio stuff? Reviews say they are dynamic but just wondering if anyone has compared them to Klipsch in that regard? Was kicking around a set of used Omen Def's to try.
  3. There is one out on Ebay now. I wouldn't mind picking up a couple of these, but I'm picky and would want the mic, etc. But, this one it out there... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-RT-12-RT12-800-Watt-Subwoofer-Home-Audio-Music-Movies-Theater-Speaker-/151297614514?pt=Speakers_Subwoofers&hash=item233a0a62b2 Klipsch really ought to bring this back (and improve upon it...)
  4. USNRET I've heard that rich people (e.g., those with Palladium based systems)don't understand humor. If it makes anyone feel better, my main car is a 2007 Honda Odyseey Mini-Van with 130k MIles... My wife gets the good Mini-Van. Had a special Lexus one-off built for her. The benefits of unlimited funds.
  5. I certainly wasn't complaining. Not sure where that came from or if I was misinterpreting.
  6. I would love to do that, but right now space dictates I have to use a 5-7 channel amp... Eliminated Parasound last night (aweome amp, but not the right mix..) kicking around a used McIntosh, maybe an Acurus (mixed reviews on if they are bright or not), Wyred 4 Sound, or sunfire, or maybe if I can swing a used Classe.. But, still open to any suggestions. Suppose I should post in the HT forum.
  7. So I'm in the market for a new amp (5-7 channel probably) to drive my P37's, P27, and 525THX surrounds. Pre-amp is a Marantz AV8801. System is a dual purpose Music/HT. Music takes priority (because lets be honest, all klipsch speakers work great for HT regardless of amp) I'm currently using an older Harman amp (old school, US built stuff). I like it actually, but it's time to try to improve. The one thing I have found with the Palladiums, at high DB's (90db+) a lot of rock recordings, in particulary garbage digitally remastered stuff can get too bright. Symbols just get too forward and bright. I tried a Butler 5150 with the speakers, and while a wonderful amp (that I loved in every regard other than it brought that out more). So, looking into a new amp. Would love to hear what other are using, and what you think in regards to the top end. I've kicked around everything from class D wyred 4 sound, to sunfire, Parasound Halo a51.. a used Mcintosh even. So, would love to hear what you are using and what you think.
  8. No longer for sale. Thanks for the positive responses. But a few things changed over the weekend, they are staying. In fact... time to find a new 5 channel amp!
  9. I'm going to bump this up. If someone could do some sort of a local sale/meet in the middle situation and pay cash so I wouldn't have to deal with shipping or paypal fees - I would do $8500.00 and that would include the 525 THX surrounds. 13k retail on all of that I believe, less than a year old.
  10. So, I would sell the center alone but only if I sold the left and right first. As far as why I am selling them, they are awesome speakers but I have another project I'd like to put together... just sold off my butler 5150 amp... but kept my other 5 channel for these. I'm kind of in a no lose situation. If I keep these it seriously won't be the end of the world!!
  11. No, about a year ago I sold some Palladium P37's in the espresso color. These were new after that, US built in merlot.
  12. As the title says, selling my palladium based system. More details and a whole bunch of pictures on US audiomart. http://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649121232-klipsch_palladium_p37_mains_and_p27_center_with_525thx_surrounds_as_option/
  13. I have the P37's, a P27c, and the THX 525's as surrounds in my system. The P37's are a very, very nice speaker. Everything you like about Klipsch but better. Very little of the "honk" associated with horns at times. They are accurate and revealing. Under 90db's they are absolutely fantastic in every way, shape, or form. Pushing 90db+ if you have a brighter (like a digitally remastered rock n roll recording) they can get bright on the high end if paired with the wrong electronics. For movies, they are spectacular 100% of the time. I'd really like to hear them paired with some McIntosh gear! But budgets are not allowing that. Unfortunately for me budgets my dictate I sell my slightly less than a year old p37's, and P27c, and the rears.... trying to hold off. They are merlot if all 3 speakers were to be of interest. That said, great speakers and if you like klipsch, you will LOVE these.
  14. yeah, i've e-mailed him twice, with no response. But sounds like a grill is beat up and there are scratches... his asking price is too high. But, I'm going to keep looking. Wish klipsch would bring that design back. Honestly wish they made a palladium subwoofer with a bit easier to use dimensions. That triangle design makes a lot of sense.
  15. I'd be interested in 1-2 RT 12 subwoofers in black. If you have one or two you are considering selling, I might be interested. Thanks. Just drop me a message. EDIT - NO LONGER NEEDED
  16. I'm open to reasonable offers on both. P17b's are on ebay, but I can work a nice deal direct. They will cost less to ship so I can be a bit more flexible.. P37f's - not on ebay yet. But I'm flexible to work a deal. Thanks.
  17. No, these are still for sale. Not sure why it was posted it looks like they are gone.
  18. So, I'm trying to do one of two things. I have another ad posted for a Palladium Center Channel in Espresso, if I can find one of those that would be great. That said, I would also like to step up to the P38's in merlot if I can source them. Obviously I want a 5.1 or 7.1 system. So my other option is to sell these and go with an all merlot set-up on the p38's. So, these are priced to move I hope. The P37's are in excellent condition, though one of them has a 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch scuff on the side. It would be very easy to touch up. The p17b's were demo's I recently bought. mint condition, though the shades of espresso are slightly different as shown in the pictures. That said, I am asking 1/2 price on both. Asking $4000 for the p37's Asking $2000 for the p17b's If you want both pairs I could cut an even better deal. I'm willing to drive up to 4 hours to meet someone to deliver/meet up. all original boxes and accessories are included. Or... if you have a p27 center in espresso or an additional pair of p17b's.. I might be a buyer! Or if you have some P38's in Merlot... and want to work something out... http://app.audiogon.com/listings/full-range-klipsch-palladium-p37s-and-p17b-espresso-2013-05-25-speakers-49009#rSiQj8rExDbx5bIR.99
  19. So I'm looking for a palladium center channel and possibly some p17's. Needs to be espresso, and in particular a very dark espresso. Due to the natural wood I've been told that there are different shades of the espresso. My P37's are dark, and I would like a center and possibly some rears to match. EDIT - NO LONGER NEEDED, sold my espresso's and picked up new merlot LCR.
  20. I've reached out to Klipsch. Not only do I have I seen them in Photos... I own them. Hoping to hear something back. They are usually quite helpful I agree. In fairness I pieced together a new, demo, and used set. But they are all espresso... just different shades!
  21. So I'm piecing together a Palladium 5 channel system here as funds permit. One thing I've noticed is that the Espresso really seems to vary between a dark, deep color and one that really looks like it's in between the espresso and the merlot. Both look great, however it really concerns me in piecing together a system over time that the shades could be different, particularly at this price point. Has it changed over the years, or production runs? Does this have to do with production in China vs the USA?
