I have an RSW 15 that I want to sell, It's in great cosmetic condition. The cabinet is clean and shiny and free of dings and scratches,. The passive radiator has a small ding in it, this doesn't affect the sound by any detectable amount. all the switches and inputs and outputs are clean and maintained.
As for the way this thing sounds, well, if you're in the market for one then you probably either already know, or know what to expect.
This sub still blew my expectations out of the water!

Also, consider upgrading the drivers i the MWM's. I am astounded at how good they sound with the Eminence Lab15 drivers. Eminence being the OEM of the Klipsch drivers, it's not a stretch really to put a lab15 in there. A little social engineering to find out the T&S of the original drivers, and the lab15 wasn't terribly far off, so I took a shot at it, and it worked out GREAT.
This is a pic of my system at Burning Man 2 weeks ago. It was running all that on 2 outlets of a small ~5000W gasoline powered generator.

Just bought a beautiful Pioneer receiver, SX-1250, awesome condition, 165 watts/channel. However, as is the case with many of these vintage components, the speaker connectors on the rear are the sketchy spring loaded types that look like they will only accept a maximum of 14 awg. There is no way I'm hooking up any of my Heritage speakers with 14 awg wire....Any suggestions on how to modify these connectors or other thoughts? Thanks.
I saw someone else ask if you could fit banana plugs in there, and the answer is obviously no, but yeah, see if you can replace them with the twisty posts that you stick nanner plugs in! I use nanner plugs all around!

it's in perfect condition and sounds just.....well, If you're buying one of these, chances are you know what to expect lol.

Man, its like you're complaining on a Kia parking lot that the Sorento won't go 0-60 in 4.0 seconds. You're basically beating up 450-700 dollar subs. Spend $1600-2K on a boutique sub like a SVS PB13 ultra and call it a day. If you want something with a Klipsch badge and to drown out your RF mains, buy an active Crown amp and pick one of these up below.

I mean maybe saying "do they still make good stuff" is overdoing it a bit. obviously they still make amazing stuff, but as for subwoofers, I'm not so sure.

their new reference line in particular caught my eye...
the new 12" sub.... 400w 12" weighs only 33 lbs..... that sounds like crap to me, and for a 400w 12" that port in the back looks mighty small to me.
and whats up with the sw115... its only 400w FOR A 15"!!! thats crap too!

I'd love to but FedEx and Brown EACH destroyed the last two sets of towers I had shipped here. I just can't get myself to do it again.

in a huge bind at the moment because I'm about to move up to San Francisco bay area in a few days into an apartment. It's a small apartment, so not only will I not have room for them, but I wouldn't even be able to turn them up half way without disturbing the entire apartment complex.
