The Pure i-20 is a GREAT dock, and the internal DAC is not too shabby.

Make sure your ipod is compatible...not all are.

You can connect it to your DAC AND straight to your preamp, switch

between the two, and choose the sound you like.

First post on this forum, although I bought the Khorns new in 1986. Bi-amping using Marchand XM9's crossing from the K-33's to the ES5800T's at 300 Hz, 24 db slope. Two stereo Decware Zen amp kits. Incredible imaging!
