This is an orchestral record from 1961 Its sounds fantastic for such an old record I’m wondering if a famous green frog got his name from this fellow Artist - Kermit Leslie And His Orchestra ‎ Title - Gypsy Strings And Percussion A US pressing

In general what determines the cart type you can use is system dependent and music genre dependent I personally prefer MM OR High spec MI carts for these reasons MM MI - Has better hard rock reproduction as in grunt over MC as they are more clinical MM MI - Replacement stylus is DIY and cost less over sending an MC cart in to a technician MM MI - you can have more stylus shapes at hand to swap over if needed But that’s me and may not suit you or others Again be aware that all these things are system dependent and some carts may not work with certain design types of tone arms ect

What do you want to know Be aware that some high spec MM or M Iron carts use an MC phono And can be as good as any MC cart

I am currently spinning one of my 3 copies of DSOTM Just testing or re-familiarising the sound quality again This pressing is the 2001 EU Remastered reissue 180gr https://www.discogs.com/Pink-Floyd-The-Dark-Side-Of-The-Moon/release/3211255 In my opinion it is very close to the 1977 reissue - that is excellent https://www.discogs.com/Pink-Floyd-The-Dark-Side-Of-The-Moon/release/4139588 But not as good as the 2016 EU Remastered reissue https://www.discogs.com/Pink-Floyd-The-Dark-Side-Of-The-Moon/release/9287809 Artist - Pink Floyd ‎ Title - The Dark Side Of The Moon ID - SHVL804
