I may have mentioned this before One of my favourite instruments is the Clarinet This is a golden greats compilation and the clarinet is the star I may have played & posted about this album a while ago, but it’s great to listen to it again Artist - Various Title – Golden Hour Of Clarinet Jazz Giants

In general what determines the cart type you can use is system dependent and music genre dependent I personally prefer MM OR High spec MI carts for these reasons MM MI - Has better hard rock reproduction as in grunt over MC as they are more clinical MM MI - Replacement stylus is DIY and cost less over sending an MC cart in to a technician MM MI - you can have more stylus shapes at hand to swap over if needed But that’s me and may not suit you or others Again be aware that all these things are system dependent and some carts may not work with certain design types of tone arms ect
  14. What do you want to know Be aware that some high spec MM or M Iron carts use an MC phono And can be as good as any MC cart
