My Rush post above is a hint hint that with luck 3 UK 1st press Rush LPs may be coming my way ( fingers crossed ) 1) Signals 2) Moving Pictures 3) A Farewell To Kings I blame Mike with his Rush posts Have listened to all Rush albums - however in my opinion the 3 in the above list were to my liking and best based on my assessment sessions And on another update I have secured the Marillion B Sides LP

  3. @dirtmudd Mike - I am going to use the start of roundabout for a photo video I’m making of our recent trip to NZ The section it will be used in is at Milford Sound then I will tack on another audio file for the remainder
  4. Go to Discogs and join https://www.discogs.com/my ( use same name if you like ) Then add your records , tapes, CDs to the collection One can also buy and sell and see how much ones collection is worth based on condition ect

  6. @WillyBob due to the recording method and technology of the day It will sound like this If they used 78 rpm and used a better recording method the sound would probably be way better than 33rpm but less content would fit on the disc

Happy International Record Store day Lets spin some vinyl or go out and purchase some This morning I’m spinning the second Man record in the collection A double album and the third release from this band Very well put together album that will delight most prog fans  Artist - Man Title - Back Into The Future 1974 Australian Release  Cat# L45393/4

I am very fortunate to have such a record collection Not a large collection by any stretch but all quality LPs by quality artists When I was young I tended to gravitate to “non pop “ artists and quite a few had to be ordered or imported for me The record shop staff had no idea until they found the listing in their catalogue More good LPs still to be played

Now onto some prog from a band that formed by a melding of two bands in Swansea Wales about the mid 60s Spining the 1st of 2 albums in the collection This album is in parts constructed in bluesy rock with a prog / space infusion a very good album to bring a little light to your day Artist - Man Title - Rhinos, Winos + Lunatics
