While Mrs FR is shopping again I am home alone And that means quite time for record spinning Decided to listen to a trio of The Doors albums that arrived from New York State Last album with Morrison Love this album and to me it’s more blues with a little psychedelic flavour and at times classic jazz Quite a few tracks stand out as favourites to many Atrist - The Doors Title - L.A. Went on a dolphin and sea life adventure and snorkeling tour today around Tangalooma Moreton Island Queensland Met some Americans from New York, that we’re here for a figure skating competition Took a few photos and posting these of a Cormorant bird fishing and have a close look at the photo of the tour guide on the boat Now look up above, and observe the storm front that was coming towards us

Yea not much comment but it’s in the title section However I noticed a few US and Canadian pressings with the same ID ##, so I looked closely at the label and entered that number and it gave me one choice The one on the link

Thought to share. A surprise package arrived today all the way from New York State to the land of OZ down under It’s from a fellow audiophile and vinyl lover @dirtmudd ( you could say like a brother ) It’s an early Chrissy present Looking forward to spinning and post impressions as time permits But will leave the record with the cardboard cover till last as it will be part of an artist segment feature Edit I should add that it took me 30 minutes to unwrap the vinyl goodness as it was packed to withstand a nuclear blast 😀

They are rated to 7,000 to 35,000 KHz, but the manual recommends that you bring them in high , with a 1.0 to 1.5 uF cap. However my speakers are already over 100 dB sensitive and I have tweeter attenuators on my crossovers so can just connect them up and adjust if needed The JBL tweeters I currently have go to 21 KHz

@dirtmudd The parcel of vinyl goodness will arrive a day early if all goes well 👌 To tell you the truth some items from the USA take less time to ship than domestic It can take up to 10 business days to ship from east coast to west coast 🤪

Every year in the first week of December the ritual starts Put on a Bin Crosby - Christmas record while assembling the Christmas tree 🎄 You may have another favourite artist . Now my job is to prepare the tree and later the family or just Mrs FR and I will decorate the tree together Then we may play this record again or choose another I sometimes play Jethro Tull Christmas afterwards Artist - Bing Crosby Title - Merry Christmas Updates will come at the second stage

I was having a relaxing spa in my garden, and just above me I spied something in the corner of my eye, a bright and colourful bird having a feed on some palm tree flowers in my garden. Got out of the spa, quickly got the SLR camera ready, and over a 10 minute period I snapped a few nice photos Camera is a Canon EOS70D with a 250mm lens This bird is called a Lorikeet and we see then fly in flocks quite often, but they normaly don’t stop They are nectar feeders
