  1. There won't be an open house because there will not be a garden, so I've been told.
  2. I'm not quite sure how to share pictures on here...Imostly use my phone.
  3. I'm not sure if this is true or not, but I heard today that there are only 4 out of 20 members of the SWAAC (arts council) left. Two of them being Jeff Cook and his wife, Catherine, the city manager. I wonder how true that is. That would really make our day...lol. Mrs. K is starting to regret moving from the depot. I wonder what kind of fight she has now that she moved out willingly. I'm starting to question her attorneys. Just doesn't seem to me like they were trying very hard. I just Hope they haven't done more harm than good. Sigh.
  4. Days inn isn't bad... I've stayed there. And they might give you a deal if you bring enough people. Just some info.
  5. The open house will be in the Klipsch Memorial Garden. Valerie is looking for someone she Calls Cannon... Or Cannon ball. Does anyone know how she might could get in touch with him?
  6. We are in the process ( slowly) of getting the new museum ready. There's been a lot of things keeping us from doing that much lately. But it is coming together nicely and I can't wait to have that open house.
  7. Thank you., no... It will more than likely be at the garden which us located right next to the old museum.
  8. Mrs. K wants me to make sure we invite you all to the open house which will be held in late match ;-)
  9. I'm good for it on the 29th of March if it hasn't happened yet. Think I can volunteer at least one more. Group of Klipsch heads working around there might get noticed. We will be having an open house around that time so we may need some help. Thanks.
  10. It'll probably come down pretty easy lol
  11. The Arts Council was informed that they have no say in what happens to the garden. We are now currently in the process of drawing up a contract that we can all agree on, so nobody can try to take the garden away again. On another note, the mural that they painted and had to hang a tarp over so no one would mess with it (because of who all they have angered) really needs to be moved. The tarp is hanging off again and the bricks that were holding down the bottom are tossed around everywhere. This keeps happening like someone is doing it. It really looks trashy and makes downtown look trashy. The Cairo-Fulton Depot looks deserted and there is trash everywhere. All along the edge of the garden also. I'm thinking of forming a clean up team since the city obviously wont do it. I can't bear to look at it anymore
