  1. Selling my pair of Klipsch Heresy II speakers in walnut. Sequential S/N's as shown in the photos. These were my "project" speakers and the following has been done. 1) Re-veneer of BOTH speakers with new walnut veneer. I did make the mistake of running out and had to purchase more. I was not able to match the grain patterns as you will see in the photos. Also, the re-veneer is not perfect as this was my first time doing this and learned a lot (for next time). I have highlighted a few minor issues. 2) Crites Titanium tweeter diaphragm updates3) Cross-overs recapped.4) Crites risers added. Walnut veneer applied.$725 and pick-up in the Milwaukee,WI area. I would consider shipping them however prefer not to.
  2. For sale are 2 Pair of Klipsch tweeter diaphragms. One pair removed from a pair of KLF-30's and the other pair from a pair of Heresy II's.I upgraded to Ti diaphragms and no longer need these.$80 shipped to CONUS or best offer
  3. Considering the sale of my Parasound HCA-2003A 3-channel amplifier. I enjoy the sound and in very good cosmetic condition however I really only need a 2-channel amp and also looking to save some $$$. Only minor thing I have noticed is that occasionally at very low volumes the audio cuts out.$600 shipped to CONUS.If interested please PM me.Also, if you have a good older 2-channel amp (especially a 2-channel Parasound HCA series) that you're looking to sell I would consider a trade. Thanks,Jay
  4. I am the 2nd owner and purchased it on Audiogon from the original owner. I am not sure of the exact age however estimate it to be 4-5 years old. I am very happy with the performance of the receiver however need to "downsize".
  5. For sale is a Denon AVR-4311CI in great cosmetic shape and fully functional. I am the 2nd owner. I am very happy with the performance of the receiver however need to "downsize". Includes all accessories and original box/packaging. $575 shipped to CONUS or best offer.
  6. Looking for an older top end RX-V3000 or RX-V3300 Yamaha receiver. Must be fully functional and prefer to have original box/packaging and all accessories. Will also consider a slightly older model such as RX-V2095. If you have one that you want to sell let me know your best price shipped to ZIP 53132 and payment via PayPal official.
  7. Thanks for the bump!! I am excited and a bit nervous as first time re-veneering.
  8. Thanks for the feedback! I also did get some minor chipping/damage however as mentioned expect the bonding to resolve that.
  9. BamaMike: Excellent set of photos and end result looks great!!! Scrappydue: Briefly thought about veneering over top the existing veneer, but came to the conclusion that was NOT a good option. That said, removing the existing veneer is a pain! ryanm84: Thanks the info. I actually bought some Bondo wood filler...have not used it yet, but it does not shrink and dry time is quick. So far I have only completed removal of the veneer on one of the two speakers. I will post some photos soon as the project progresses.
  10. ryanm84...thanks for the info. So which wood filler did you use? I also need to add some filler to the flat area to fill some uneven area. How did you bond your veneer? Thanks, Jay
  11. I recently purchased a pair of Heresy II in Oiled Walnut (WO). The veneer has some pretty deep scratches and also some water rings that I will NOT be able to get out. I also purchased a pair of Crites angled risers (pine) as mine did not have them. I think re-veneering is the route I need to go to get them looking their best. I would love to re-veneer them in cherry or something different than walnut however I would like to keep them in a condition for best resale. Just looking for other experience with re-veneering in the same or different veneer than the labels.
  12. Thanks...didn't think they would be as hard to sell as they were.
  13. July 3rd bump. I have replaced the missing Klipsch emblem with another original one however photos not yet updated.
  14. Reasonable offers will be considered.
  15. Up for sale is a nice pair of Klipsch Heresy II's in walnut. Cosmetically there are not perfect, but I would say good cosmetic shape. One of the speaker grilles is missing the Klipsch emblem. 7/3/16 UPDATE: I purchased a replacement original emblem and assembled however photo has not been updated. Serial numbers ARE consecutive. The Heresy II's have the upgraded Crites Ti diaphragms in the tweeters and I replaced the original cap's with SONICAP's also from Crites. See photos of the recapped X-overs. $650 Firm
