  1. The Sixes in beautiful Walnut finish. One pair of speakers.

    Everything included from Klipsch factory.
Purchased new by me in January of this year from my authorized Klipsch dealer. Used MAYBE 30 minutes. I bought these on an impulse and simply have not used them. No dings. dents or scratches - smoke free home. They look brand new with zero functional issues.  Will ship in original Klipsch packing materials and over boxed to ensure a safe trip.

Sorry, no international, AK or HI sale.

See my ad on Audiogon for all the pics...  :-)

$575 shipped & insured from Crown Point, IN

That would most likely be the rep not knowing who or what to ask, or maybe the dealer not staying on top of it. Nothing really takes that long, especially just seeing if something is possible. Takes longer than ideal to get an exact price on a super custom request sometimes but still, about the worst I've ever seen from question to an exact quote is 2 weeks on crazy things. I've had them quote an entire speaker being totally redrawn in CAD with way quicker than that.

Could be the rep. My dealer is 1st class. I know he tried to get an answer for sometime.

oh well...all good now. Just have to wait some more.

Maybe the wrong place to post but going from the first post regarding the options on the Klipschorns what difference does closed back to open back make with the music or is this option purely cosmetic?

    Cheers

The closed back allows the speaker to “not” be placed snug in a corner. If memory serves me, I believe some bass response is lost with the closed design.

That is very interesting. I might just look into what the different options are! 😉

Klipsch does a REALLY poor job promoting the Heritage line “options” IMHO. It took the Klipsch rep about a month to get back to my dealer with an answer if they could build what I wanted.

I also think their stock black grill cloth is terrible. They could easily improve their stock grill cloth offering. Again, JMHO....

Oh well....I’m getting exactly what I want, so I’m happy.  :-)

Congrats on the new McIntosh 275. It's a great amp. May I politely suggest that you look into placing better tubes in it. Took me a while to realize the potential of the amp with better tubes, especially the KT88s. Now running BB 12ax7s, RCA 12at7s and Winged "C" KT88s and it is a totally different amp.

Thanks! I agree, the Mc stock tubes are so so....

Personally, I'm a big fan of Goldlions. Ryan at Audio Classics recommended them a few years back with another Mc tube amp I owned. If he's a fan, I'm a fan! Lol, lol :-)

  6. FOR SALE:

GORGEOUS 22" Round, McIntosh Labs, Curtis Clock, Neon Clock

Made custom for me by Curtis at Curtis Clock. What makes this clock special? I asked Curtis to build me the exact clock that he gifted McIntosh a few years back that hangs in their front lobby (picture below). JUST SO NO MISUNDERSTANDING - MY CLOCK DOES NOT HAVE THE BLUE METER GRAPHICS. If I remember, correctly, Curtis told me he only produced 2 of these and he promised McIntosh no more. FYI, I believe clock #2 was sold on the Klipsch forum a few years back. :)  Since Curtis couldn't build me the EXACT clock at the Mc factory, he got very close by just leaving off the blue meters.

The clock has a chrome and black painted bezel and is exactly as I received it from Curtis. Since these are custom made, you might find some very, very small imperfections here and there. I have 3 of his clocks in my home - his clocks are truly artwork. The clock is absolutely beautiful with blue and green neon. Power cord is approx. 5' long. The neon lights have a dimmer knob as well (I'm not 100% certain, but I believe Curtis has stopped building this feature into his clocks due to cost - if he is still doing, I would guarantee it's a premium). My home is smoke free home.

Only selling as my wife and I just moved into a new home and no longer have a home theater (where this hung for about 2 years). The neon was only turned on a handful of times when we had parties at our home. Kills me sell this, but I simply have no room to display it.

S550.00 COD or $566.00 if by PayPal. For now, this is for pick-up only at my home is Crown Point, IN. I had Fed-Ex pack and ship a similar size Curtis Clock a few months back out to CA and it cost me $250.00! Lesson learned. :(

    Thank you for looking!
