    Please PM rules and regulations.

Mike, you always make disparaging remarks about lawyers. Where would you have been without a lawyer when you were nabbed on that charge of carnal relations with farm animals?

  2. I am reminded of a Tom Clancy movie where Jack Ryan is in Columbia and needs a helicopter. Ryan goes to a shady merchant and asks if he can buy the chopper to which the response is "Yes, $1,000,000." In shock, Ryan then asks if he can rent it. The answer is "Yes, $1,000,000"

  4. I have not been here much lately but wanted to pass along a worthwhile opportunity. Many of us have bought equipment from Craig and been helped by him.

He is raising three grandchildren and needs a little temporary help. He has started a "go fund me" request. If you can help out, that would be great.

If this is old news, please forgive me.

Patients ARE warned.  Very clear statistics are presented about survival rates with specific cancer therapies, such as surgery, chemo and radiation.

In my case with colon cancer they went snip-snip and took out half my insides.  After the surgery my doctor went over the percentages that chemo would add to the likelihood cancer would not return, and also the percentages that chemo could contribute to my death.  Chemo had had about a 2% chance of helping me after surgery, and I opted not to do that, thinking the surgery got it all.

That was 5 years ago.  I had my colonoscopy two weeks ago and the cancer had not returned.

But I ASSURE you, they have very good numbers which are shared with the patients. Cancer treatment has come a long way in the last ten years, and they have a lot of this figured out.  The doctor gave me information and after that I made my own decision.

I am so happy that you are doing well.

  6. Interesting that ALL the local reviews are 5 stars, and the 2 @ 1 star reviews are from LA and LV with near identical language.

That in itself should be a red flag for Yelp.

Of course mine is from Rochester, NY. Nonetheless, every word is true. Mark is great at identifying "mysterious sounds."

  7. I also think that you should keep after Yelp. Many people rely on social media when making decisions. This is the case especially if they are new in an area or are looking for a business for which none of their friends can make a recommendation.

Don't underestimate the damage these aholes can do to your reputation. That is why internet business such as Reputation.Com have been so successful. They specialize in pushing down sites like Yelp and other sites that contain damaging comments about individual businesses.
