you must be close to Fort McMurray Alberta
Nope. Downtown 'Peg'
No complaints. It's been the mildest and driest year on record.
This 48 hr cold spell is over now. We get a few of these every winter. Maybe
7-14 days in total. About the same for really hot, humid days in summer.
Most hours of sunshine, as many freshwater lakes and rivers as people, and the prettiest girls
in Canada. Also no states of emergency, ever.

born in the shadow of the Oakland Collesium; but lived most of my life in Los Angeles.
I used to go back and forth between Canadian and Moosehead; but finally settled on Canadian ... actually in the USA way back when, it was called Molson Golden. Imagine it's the same stuff as the Molson Canadian. Haven't had a LaBatt's for a long while; but I think it was okay if I remember correctly.
would love to spend some time up there; but can you do anything about the cold weather?
I'd like to do something about it, but its to F**cking cold to move.
Again, -40C is the same as -40F. You can actually 'pour' propane.
Lots of Canadian talent with SCTV.
Pouring myself a none propane drink.

Eric was the guy Dylan referred to as the man in the long black coat (see last pic).

Could it be "The Jack of Hearts"?

I replaced my Heresey 1's with a pair of these and was impressed. I resealed and cross braced the cabs from the inside (hot glue gun).
Sold them because of downsize to apartment.

We had a $2600 wire repair last week caused by rodents. Had to pull the dash and evap case to fix everything. Colder weather drives them into vehicles. We've done a half dozen or so in the last couple months. Injector and coil wires are a favorite as well.
We winter stored lots of cars over the years. A trick that has always worked was Moth Balls.
On the carpet, under the seats, inside the engine compartment-even in filter housings, just laying around underneath the vehicle,
and especially inside the exhaust outlets. I helped a friend cut a muffler out from his '32 Ford PU after winter storage in a 'secure'
place and it was totally packed with seeds. The consistency of cured epoxy. I've removed mouse nests from marine engine carburetors.

I'll never forget in a TV interview (a long time ago) he was asked about the spelling of his name--
He said "Eager with a Y" RIP Chuck.
