Morning all just checking in. We sent our eldest daughter and the grandkids to ocean for the week, so The Boss has been staying with her mom. She needs some time off. Same ol' stuff going on..... still not super busy at work.... it really needs to break free.... Well we finally pissed off a neighbor this past Saturday night. Don't know who it was. I know it wasn't the young couple from next door cuz they were over our house. We were pumping out the music on the JBL's and they were hitting hard. Had some old 90's rap with some crazy bass (Snoop Dogg, Fat Joe and Ice Cube). Once the young couple came over we turned the music down so we could talk and play the game they brought over. Five minutes after they got here there was a knock at the front door. It was a Maryland State Trooper. He said there was a noise complaint and asked if we were playing music. I said yea it was us. He said when he first pulled up he could hear it but couldn't tell what house it was coming out of. He was a few driveways down. He was still unsure that it was us cuz he said he was going to knock on a few more doors... I said " no my man it was us. I think he was confused cuz I wasn't some kid but some 50+ year old dude lol lol. I think the reason we got a complaint was we had the windows open and that sound travels. We've pumped the music like that before but we always have the windows closed. Check in later... a good day to all.. MKP :-)

It's been unusually slow in all the shops around here as well. It's been very strange for this time of year. Yea Carl I know what your saying..... Around this time of year my schedule is usually all jammed packed.... MKP :-)

Morning/Afternoon all.... It's been awhile since I have checked in.... All is OK with The BOSS and me...... just doing our thing... The BOSS is at mom's house today, our daughter has some stuff to do.... so The BOSS is on "mom" watch. She should be in sometime this afternoon... Kinda slow at the shop for the past few weeks..... don't know what's going on.... even the used cars guys are slow... they have sold only two cars in two weeks.... The sales guys that come around the shop tell me that most shops are kinda slow. Man it should be letting loose soon, people are getting that tax money back. Anyway I've been rolling out of the shop early and hitting the gym. Found a boxing gym in town.... I came across this place a few weeks ago, they just moved to this location. It's just down the street from the shop about a mile or so. The guy that runs the gym is training two young kids, a girl that's 12 and a boy that's 14. They were in the ring last night sparing for 4 rounds and they were throwing BOMBS... Man it was fun watching those two. The girl is tough a chitt she took a few shots but did not back up, she just kept in the pocket and threw bombs right back at the boy... After the last round the whole gym gave them a round of applause. Good stuff... I've never trained at a "real" boxing gym before, so this type of training is all new to me... so far I like it... Ok gonna try and catch up on some posts.... a good day to all... MKP :-)

Evening gang, . Just checking in catching up on some posts. Same old crapp going on...... work work and more work..... Shops been up and down..... Morning/afternoon all, Not much going on at the shop today...... The used car guy Jerry did our lot for us and his son did all around my bays where the snowblower didn't get. I'll throw a few bucks at his son for hooking us up. I guess I'll work on one of my Samurai today.....gonna do the fluids in it.....gonna put it up for sale, spring is coming so this lititle truck move quick. Check back later.... MKP :-)

I think some amps can't produce bass as well as others is more the case. Ya know I think your onto something Carl. I ran this by my audio bud Ryan (a real tech guy) and it doesn't surprise him. He was telling me the Carver 4.0t with the Silver Seven Vacuum Tube Transfer function gives that amp a "tube" sound. All I know is that the LaScalas sounded great with that amp. I think that setup is going to be a keeper for a while. MKP :-)

lol lol..... That gold dust was scooped up..... Gary looks like you guys will be getting a good bit more than us. Woke up to only a few inch's on the ground. It's still snowing here.... I don't see us getting any more than 7"-8". I'm not even going to shovel the driveway. The Pilot will cruze over that Just been jamming most of the morning....... got the Carver 4.0t powering the LaScalas, that amp and speaker combo is one of the best that I've put together in some time. That amp really bring out the bass in the LaScala's more than any amp I've tried with em... Later..... MKP :-)

I use my Magic Putty on my cables from my Carver amp and it doubles the wattage from my TFM-55. So now I don't need that Carver TFM-75 MKP :-)

One day. I can't recall the last one I've seen for sale. Yea one day The last one I saw for sale was about 3/4 years ago on e-bay. If I remember it went for around $2200/$2300 + shipping that beast. The seller also had two of the Carver mono 9t's. Those 9t's & 7t's come up way more often that that 75......... and yea I want me some 9t's one day lol lol MKP :-)

The listing was taken down Saturday night......and I'm glad... sent two e-mails to the seller Friday and wad tossing and turning all night thinking about that damn thing..... and thinking what I'm going to sell..... I still can't belive it didn't make it to thecarversite...... One day there be a TFM-75 in the cribb......just not that one..... MKP :-)

Morning all, Just getting ready for the weather, no real work on the book today. So we'll all clear the lot. My lot and the used car guys. Jerry (used car guy) will bring in his tractor with the snow blower on it. Just about out of wood at the house so i'm going to cut a few logs up that are in the woods next to the shop.
