I'm gonna keep at x.6.x just to aggravate you!this is probably my biggest pet peeve in this hobby. lol -
I see the edit... 9.1.4 is also possible. Atmos supports 24.2.10 (provided you have the AVR / Pre-Pro in place to process it.
I have a Marantz AV7702. I will have to dig into to it to see if it can process this configuration.

I have 4 ceiling speakers for Atmos and really like it. I was just wondering if I could also incorporate it as a 9.1.4 set-up. I actually have 6 subs, so it would be 9.6.4

Pickup one more for a double-double stack! Yo-yeah!Since this is for HT and not music, stack 2 RSW 15's for some extra punch- 2

Try Google's DNS addresses, that's what I use on all my programming jobs. 1st = 8.8.8.8 2nd = 8.8.4.4Sounding more like some dorky DNS stuff. You may want to make sure your router is configured with an alternate DNS server. -
I forgot Al Gore's email address, but I think he could help you out...
That's right Al Gore invented the internet, LOL!!

Looking forward to your measurements.

4K dying already?
JJK
Geez, and I was worried about parts for the old Sharp and old Zenith. It looks like I've got some catching up to do.
.
Yeah baby, the ol Flyback Transformer, you aint lived till you been bit by one of those
That brings back some fun memories. I work as as a TV bench technician repairman and would pull pranks on the tech across from me as he would be isolating the crt tube with current I would hit him low current under the bench. Good times man!!

I'm just givin ya a hard time lol!!I thought those were the black ones from Ace. I stripped a couple of them getting in the t-nuts and used another set. I never painted screws before, lol. -
Looks real good Derrick. I bet that goes really low! Hey, paint those screw heads black already! Lol!

That is too funny because my wife is the same way!! She doesn't give a "you-know-what" about the speakers and stuff. So, I showed this video to my wife and she said..."oh, look at that granite, I like that faucet, nice trim work...wow, that paint really goes well with the carpet and..." I stopped her and asked about the speakers...."Oh, I guess they are ok". -
Deeeeees nuts!
One of my son's sayings. Working on correcting him of that before he gets in trouble at school.

I hope it happens earlier so I can keep my kids up to watch it. But, sounds like odds are that it will be late and they both are still in elementary school, can't stay up too late.

Ahhh...SEO at it's best, thanks!Key Words...."Dolby Atmos". But you indeed have a very worthy HT even without the "Dolby Atmos" in your title. -
Dave the box is around the size of my two vented subs, 9.5-10 cu ft. Either way, it is a big sub. Tomorrow I will do the brace work and get the top on it. I need to buy a router to do the baffels. I have not decide on the finish.
You will need to weigh it when completed and post.

Two speakers for a center channel?
in Home Theater
Posted
I currently have a RB-81II for the center speaker and feel it just isn't keeping up with the rest of the system and it sounds a bit "boxy". So, I was kicking around the idea of trying (2) RB-61II's (Stacked vertically) that I have lying around. I do have a couple of open amplification channels on my UPA-700 that supplies the ceiling speakers to use for both 61's.
Or, would a entirely different center speaker be considered? If so, please give me your recommendations.
