  1. Yes, hard to believe...but, I thank you for such a wonderful post. Here's to you, as well.
  2. Well, if there is one thing my Dad taught me, it is class and decorum. Thanks to all who have commented on each thread, it allows me a great sense of pride and love from this place.
  3. Thanks for your kind words...Boxx was my Dad. Welcome to forum. I know they will make you feel as welcome as they have made me feel also.
  4. I have 1 strunz album that was a gift and to be honest I have not listened to it (I have a good bit of music like that I am ashamed to admit ) but since it gets a thumbs up here I will move it higher on the list.I will also have to look for McCartney unplugged, I have a few unplugged albums but have not heard McCartney It's called Paul McCartney Unplugged...The official bootleg. It has some good cuts on it. I really like when McCartney plays a specific acoustic set in his concerts. It's so clean sounding, and intimate.
  5. I like the Unplugged series as well (Clapton, McCartney esp.) Also, Strunz and Farrah...
  6. Blackwolf58 will fit in, he's a plethora of audio knowledge...and a tad of sarcasm too.
  7. Boxx is with us today and everyday.
  8. I believe so as he said he was on Boxx's laptop. Boxx's account would then be like Oldtimers where you could still read his posts and that was it. Maybe he'll eventually create his own account like Genevieve did and stick around. I also think Chad could fire up any account if the need arose. I am so enjoying it here. It's still signed in. I hear there is going to be another memorial Friday night?

  10. Indeed! True dat, more like the league of Extrodinary People Indeed!
  11. Agreed! What is your definition of "ordinary?" haha
  12. Well, after all we're only ordinary men... Couldn't resist.
  13. Steve, Thanks for your kind words. I am doing ok, being here on the Forum does help. Thoughts on Roger's concerts? Have you ever heard Ca Ira? It's nice...
  14. Hello Maccagirl! Sorry about your loss. I was jamming my Klipsch X7i headphones at work with some Wish You Were Here for him earlier today after I read that post. I've never found anything close to PF sound. Every new speaker addition or electronics change I make, it is always PF that is used to adjust the soundscape. Luckily, now we have blu ray audio to adjust sound to. I usually use DSOTM blu ray and now The Division Bell blu ray to make my adjustments. TDB album is such an amazing surround cut. Perfection, if you ask me. Of course, Endless River is getting a lot of play right now as well. Cheers! LWB Thanks for your kind words. I am always hearing new stuff in PF albums...its amazing what you hear each time your listen. We always had a dog that would howl on cue during Seamus. Like he heard them saying something. Incredible- its not just us. Talk PF anytime with me. I will always join in. Cheers back! Genevieve
  15. Welcome! They have made me feel at home, also, as I am new. My Dad was Boxx, and he was a huge PF fan. I have seen Roger Waters twice in concert. See my post in "All You PF fans" for my other story....
  16. I agree. We can totally make that happen.
  17. Awesome. Small world- I loved working there. Bought Dad many a Jazz cd after previewing them there at KNTU. I DJ'd there for 3 years, before working into Promotions and Programming at KLUV. Brought many loves of music together.
  18. Thanks, each song has a special memory or meaning behind it. I think he would have approved. See you all at Hope. Can't wait.

  20. Well put, Dave. I enjoyed getting to know Jazz when I worked at UNT's radio station in college (KNTU). We played all varieties. You really see where some of the roots of other genre's get their sound from...
  21. Is anyone still interested in seeing the playlist I created for Boxx's memorial? I will post if so...
