Hello everyone! I'm new, obviously. Looking to make friends and share stories, especially Pink Floyd related friends and stories. Please, without Rogers politics or religous views brought up for everyones sake please, tell me a good Pink Floyd story you have, or a general hello. I'll start: My son, who is about 8, is Orion Syd. Named after Pink Floyd founder: Syd Barrett. My wife and I love Floyd and there is not much in our life that isn't influenced for some reason some how by Pink Floyds music and history. My wife and I toured around during the Rogers Dark Side tour while she was pregnant with our little guy. So even though he has yet to go see any Floyd related shows yet, he was there! ;-) We have been hearing talks of a Gilmour tour this year, so it looks like Orion will be getting his first Floyd experience soon enough. May they shine on: Rick and Syd

Appreciate the feedback thus far. I agree, leaving them alone is a safe bet for now I would think. However, I am often known for being an overly prepared indivudal, so keep hitting me with suggestions! This forum is the best.

I would rather just buy. I honestly love the look of the new Klipsch subs, but I'm open for suggestions in general. I lean more toward music than movies, if that helps.

They are chugging along fine, but I foresee a need to upgrade them sooner than later, out of personal desire if nothing else. I personally love the spun-copper Cerametallic woofers in many of the new speakers. Would that be a easy task to accomplish, or even worth going that route? Thoughts? Regards, Luther

I'm new here, but I hate to hear of your loss. Your description of your father reminds me of myself so much it is erie. I am sure there are some stereos playing some Wish You Were Here for him right now, as I am. I hope you carry on his love of Floyd and help them continue to influence and please another generation in the future. Our son, Orion Syd, we even partially named after Syd Barrett in his memory. It is great you were able to reach out to this forum community, that so far seems to be an absolute charm that I just found myself. Again, may he shine on. Regards, Luther

I have Heresy II's as fronts, RC25 center and R15M as back and above surrounds. The entire system is a work in progress, but currently my sub is the most dire to upgrade. I only have a 10" polk currently. I don't want to go to another crap sub, as I do plan on moving my current fronts to surrounds and getting either another set of Heresy's up front, or other large fronts, with a larger center over the course of this year.
