That's yellow squash, but zucchini would work the same. Sprinkled with parmesan cheese and some seasoning and baked in the oven at 400 or 425 or so til brown and tender. They were pretty good but I used a "fresh" shred instead of the kind with the green shaker which I think would've made it a little crunchier.

I think maybe I've noticed the heche en Mexico on plain old Dixon #2's and not Ticonderogas specifically...I'm such a pencil snob though. A few years ago when I noticed that my favorite pencils (Ticonderoga) weren't made here anymore, I swapped over to USA Gold.
