just what kind of music is acceptable to you wisconsin types? let me know what is wrong with u2...

great song set by U2. i have their rattle and hum dvd and it sounds great in 5.1, i use an audigy sound card. i also bought the eagles hell freezes over dts audio only and it won't play, don't know why. really love u2 though!

i was reading y'all's comments this week, and picked up the eagles hell freezes over dts disc, not the dvd-a version, and it won't play on my computer. i use an audigy mp3 soundcard, and creative 5.1 speakers (for now), but even if i set my software to digital output, or change the rate to 48 it still won't play. i just downloaded the new 3.1 version of windvd, and it says it can decode dts, i don't get it - any ideas? thanks for your help!

thanks justin, i have windvd, and bought a dts eagles disc, and it cannot play - i did think it could because i use an audigy mp3 card, but i guess it has to be played in the dvd player, and my windvd doesn't play dts i guess...thanks for the info sheet, i will buy the powerdvd now....regards

does anyone here know which is better for both listening to dvd (the music part) and graphically. i have windvd which came with my compaq presario, a 1.2 amd version, about 3 months old. is powerdvd version 4 the latest version? what is the latest version of windvd, and do they both process digitally ( i have a sound blaster audigy mp3 care), thanks for any input you all have!
