  1. Thanks for the input.. and Mustang Id like a set of Cornwalls but Hearsays (the dream would be Khorns the speaker that I heard over 40 years ago and got me hooked on HIFI)  would work as well..I do have a Klipsch RPW10 sub to add to the mix

    thanks for the link Willland

  2. I want to get into a set of Heritage speakers would a Denon AVR 4800 receiver do them justice.... 120 WPC shes an oldie but a goodie

I like it because its got digital inputs and I think a good amount of current

option 2 is a Harman Kardon HK 6800 integrated amp 120 WPC 70 amps of current all analog with an audioengine DAC

I like the digital front end because i'm streaming a lot of music these days   ...I do spin some wax I think both units have pretty decent phono stages ..

    thanks vince

  3. or if anyone can recommend a repair solution that won't alter the appearance, It has some distortion when playing bass heavy music. cosmetically perfect and sounds fine when playing at lower levels and when playing classical music.

    thanks

  7. Thanks so much to all ... I heard The Klipsch horn about 40 years ago qt 16 years of age I was hooked I think they were about 3,000 a pair more money than I could dream of back then. I will say the CF 3s have a very big sound and I think the horn is pretty spot on not too much or little. I might just hold on to these for a while ..Winter is coming lots of good listening time coming up

    Thanks to all you guys
