Where would I find a good active crossover? I don't think the pro sound ones I've looked at are the best.

Do electronic crossovers always hurt the sound?

Would there be an improvement if I bi amped the RF-7iis and bypassed the passive crossovers? Would the horns need as much power as the woofers? I'm still uncertain about keeping the XPA-2 but it may not be the main problem.

I live in central Texas and sit about 10' from the speakers.

I don't know what WAF stands for? Yes the room technically much larger than 24x34'. I'm also trying to determine the best subwoofer to build with. 1 or 2 large sealed Ultimax, or 2 or 4 15" IBs from Dayton Audio.

The room is large, roughly 24x34' with 18 to 24' ceilings. I am currently listening and trying to decide on keeping an Emotiva XPA-2. So far it hasn't given me the improvement I was expecting. I have two tube amps but they can't produce enough volume. I am very interested in making the RF-7iis sound their best.

Would this modification help my RF-7iis? They sound good until played very loudly. Thanks for all the helpful information.

I've got two Zen triode amps and they were great. We built a new house and our living to big for them now. Steve Dekert has improved this amp many times over the years.
