  2. Should work now.....I set the permissions incorrectly.
  3. Here is a pic of my La Scala after some bondo, duratex, and new badge (vinyl on metal). Thanks for the suggestions to make the repairs.
  4. I know this is an old post but are you still looking for badges for your La Scala's? The badges on mine were toast so I had some vinyl stickers custom made that look darn near the originals (used official Klipsch vector files). I ordered extra. Put them on some metal strips and you would be good to go. Let me know if you want a pic of the stickers. -brent
  5. I am sure some lawyer would have a problem with it but when I had an email conversation with Klipsch support, they recommended I create my own because they don't make them anymore. My opinion, if you are putting these on genuine Klipsch products there should not be an issue. Again, purely my opinion, your mileage may vary.
  6. Ok, not many details to provide but I wanted to find out if there would be interest from the community in purchasing vinyl stickers that would simulate the design on the pro badges on mid-eighties LaScalas. I am in the process of creating new badges for my LaScalas and thought using vinyl stickers would be a decent solution. The stickers are being generated from authentic Klipsch logo files. Since I am going through the pain of creating the stickers, I would order more than I need if there is interest and resell them to community members. I don't have specifics on price but I am not looking to get rich off of this. If I had to guess I would say the stickers would be around $8-10/each. I will post more info as I get further into the process but I thought I would throw this out there before I make my order. I of course can always order more in the future but could reduce cost if I order a larger quantity once. Looking forward to hearing from the community. -brent
  7. I picked up this pair of LaScalas because they brought me back to my early college days when my fraternities LaScalas would shake the house. I would part with them for $1500 which I know is a premium but it is what it is given their nostalgia to my youth....getting old is a *****.
  8. I have attached a few pics of one of the speaker set. The other speaker set is in equal / better condition (no peeling of plywood). On the topic of the peeling layer of the plywood. Any one have any suggestions for repairing the veneer and then duplicating the pebbled paint finish of the interior of the doghouse? I have a few thoughts but thought I would throw it out there. Thanks again for everyone's input. -brent
  9. Sounds like I will be posting some pics momentarily..........thanks for the fast replies.
  10. I have a pair of La Scala Industrial Fiberglass Splits that I am contemplating putting on the chopping block. I picked them up last Spring and put in new Crites crossovers and tweeters. Fiberglass is in really good shape. Some minor peeling of the plywood veneer inside the doghouse of one of the speakers. Aluminum pieces are in tact but worn with years of service. They clean up fairly well with elbow grease. Looking for what these are 'worth' and if anyone would be interested in buying. I am in Minneapolis, MN. If there is interest, I will post photos. Thanks, -brent
