I have a pair of 4 year old la scala's with tube amps. I feel like they are a little weak on the low end could/would it be a good idea to get a transistor amp just to run my drivers and use the tubes for mid and high's. could I wire the crosovers to do so? I saw a NHT sub amp on ebay is this what i need?

You are right it will be a good thing for Klipsch in the end. When they meet their end. They are commercializing. A cheaper product for a cheaper price They will be soon made in sweatshops in China I'm sure. But, you diehards keep following Klipsch blindly and you can fall off that same plank they are walking down.

Forresthump, Yes I lost my job. I currently work at a retail store stocking shelves at night to SUPPORT my family. While my wife works during the day to SUPPORT our family. Am I proud of my current job? NO. But I am proud that I didnt go on welfare. After all I did pay into, but I am not taking from. So long as we have Americans who dont buy domestic cars, who buy foreign shoes and have CEO's who will send American jobs over seas to save their bottom line I will be forced to continue my current night job. However I will drive to that job in my American car, work in my American shoes and be damn proud that I am NOT on welfare. And while I am working to support my family I will continue to hope that there is someone somewhere in this country that will put down that foreign product and buy the American one so that I can get my real job back. Wow, after watching the news this morning, I had to ask myself with all the destruction and rubble in Palastine are the Israelis actually "looking for terrorists" or just bombing the heck out of them?

My Heresy dreams are delayed. As I was laid off today. Hopefully economy will get better and I can be on that Heresy path again. Will work for Klipsch!! Better make that will work for food, I don't think the wife would take a likeing to broiled Heresy. Off to the want ads. Anyone hireing???
