Do you have a way to DIY ? These are not in production any more so I have no problem doing this.

This is a good way considering what shipping alone is on these.

Let me know if you need some dimensions/drawing.

Did mine 9 years ago, Red Oak ply.

This is definitely an option. Can you PM me any plans that you have on hand? I might take a crack at trying to build them myself if I can't find any singles by summer.

    Thanks,

    Mike

A guy in Maine bought four complete stacks here in VT last year and did offer them briefly in Garage Sale just before winter.  See if you can find the post and shot him an email.

Those where double bins ( to big for my doorways )

  3. Selling my Mcintosh Mc452. I am the original owner. It is about 1.5 years old. It went from new in box into my audio rack and hasn't moved. Conservatively rated at 450wpc. Incredible sound. Like new condition. I have all the original packaging. I do not want to ship it.

    Location: Maine.

    Price: 5,000 Firm.

    Thanks,

    Mike.

  4. I like the bass of the Chorus 1 and the midrange of the Chorus 2. personally i would take either over any version of Cornwalls. The k48 woofers in the Chorus are hard to beat and they can handle rediculous amounts of power for extended periods of time.

I left a message yesterday in response to this listing but have not yet received a reply.  If we come to a deal my Cornwall Decorators will have to go.

Shoot me a pm if you have any questions about the speakers. After getting a bunch of emails from from what appears to be scammers or bots on Craigslist I haven't bothered to reply to a few emails.

    ...not a good deal

you can get them brand new for $2200ish delivered.

Actually they where $2,380ish delivered. These are B series with newer CT120 with risers, frames and fabric. Given all the time I have in these i would say they are a good deal. These are better than new ones in terms of sound quality, build quality, and reliability. These have much Better bracing then new ones, i added a tweeter brace that new ones do not have so the tweeter doesn't bounce all over the place breaking wires and ruining imaging like new ones will. I replaced the cheap copper clad and crimped terminals with bigger pure Copper wires and soldered the terminals, installed better gaskets, and 4 coats of clear inside and out of the cabinets.

I have two pairs of these and both pairs had the same issues when new that these will never have. Though it may sound like simple and small upgrades the difference in sound over stock ones wasn't small. If someone where to buy both pairs and stack them like I did they would be damn close to what a pair if Jubilee's will do, for less than half the price, i know because I have compaired them over the past year.

  7. I did some experimenting with my jubes when I first got them. I removed the jumper from the bass bins and ran them parallel instead of series with the jumper. I only did this for one day when I was still dialing them in,  I do remember bass seemed to hit harder with out the jumper in place.  I've been meaning to try this again but never got around to it. Maybe someone who knows more than me could explain if there is any benifit to it.

  8. Chorus 1 for sale. Cabinets have been repainted by previous owner, they look ok but could look better with alittle sanding and another coat of paint. Grills are in good shape and all drivers work. They have Crites Titanium tweeters.

    Location: Maine.

    $500.
