  1. I will be send more, I guess you can only send one at a time I guess. Sorry for the flash. Doug
  2. Thanks guys for the good info. Chris, The name plates are like to old 60's khorns a clear plastic with the name KLIPSCH etched into them. at the bottom center of the speaker standing verticle. They are a mirrored pair.
  3. I beleive that they made corwall II's from 1962 through 1972. The tag on back is like brand new and says cornwall II. They came with verticle horns for horizontal listening. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. Doug
  4. I just purchased a matching pair of all original 1962 cornwall II's (A026) and (A027)the first year they came out. Cabinets are in great shape no dings a plant water mark though on top. The original woven cane grills need to be replaced ( man I hope someone has some old cloth left) They sound like brand new. Checked all the drivers and they are all original, we took off the backs for the second time since 62' I beleive. These cornwall's have some history the original owner was a friend of the person I bought them from. I will cherrish these for a long time and hand them to my kids. They also still have the original clear plastic basic KLIPSCH logo at the bottom of the speaker. All verticle drives, The only thing that isn't with the speakers is the risers, which I am assuming was an added option, ( no holes in the walnut never had them on )but on the back it does show in red the original verticle or horizontal posistion that they could be used in. I will be picking them up tomorrow. I will have pick's soon. One of the inspector's names I recall was last name of POWELL. This has been a great day. If anyone has any feedback on early cornwall II's please fill me in I am all ears. Doug
  5. Is there a place on this web site that I can goto to check out different replacement parts for my klipsch heritage line speakers. Thanks, Doug
  6. Received my LaScala Grill kit today and they are perfect. Doug
  7. Both of mine are shot and need to find replacements. Can anyone help? They are from LaScala's. Thanks, Doug
  8. John, I e-mail you yesterday but didn't hear back from you. I will take you up on the offer for the grills. Give me an e-mail back. Thanks John, Doug
  9. Can anyone tell me what would be the difference between a 15" K33B (LaScala) vs. a K33P (Cornwall)? Can I use the "P" in my LaScala's? Thanks, Doug
  10. I AM LOOKING FOR A GRILL KIT FOR A SET OF LASCALA'S CIRCA 1979. IN WOVEN CANE. IS THIS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET? DOES ANYONE HAVE ONE? KLIPSCH TOLD ME THAT THEY DON'T MAKE WOVEN CANE GRILLS ANYMORE. (BUMMER) CAN ANY ONE DIRECT ME TO A SET. THANKS, DOUG
  11. I just bought a pair of 1979 raw birch LaScala's all still with factory drives. The cabinets are on life support and I can't pull the plug just yet, going to try to save them if I can. The question I have is the speakers have the "AL" crossovers, but I am getting nothing out of the woofers on either one. The story behind the speakers is that they might have been used for a gararge band to rehearse on (not sure). There hasn't been any special modifications to the speakers that I can see. I took off the bottom to look at the woofer's and everything looks great. Thanks guys. Doug
  12. What does "LS-BR" mean and also the serial number is "Z1T553" does this sound right to you? The serial number doesn't seem to have enough numbers it it. I am using the S-N Klipsch list I got of the site. Very curious. Doug

  15. I just received a 96 inch DRAPER pull down screen and now I am looking for a nice Projestion system to use it with. I am not familiar with projection and don't really know where to start my quest for a resonable priced and good looking system. I have between $1500 and $2500 to spend. All I use is DTV and my H/K DVD 50 for viewing movies and TV. 20. BigBusa, You got it. The rollerrink in now "Bob's Discount" (sorta like Marden's). NewEngland HiFi is still selling Klipsch & H/K. The area around NewEngland HiFI is all developed now, you name it and it is there. Nice to see that someone other than me has spent a small fortune there.
