  2. I just found this at garage sale and picked it up for $10. It still works. Does anyone have any info on this thing? I assuming it has to be from the 50's or so. Thanks, Doug

  5. Charles' How are the 62's holding up? Doug
  6. Charles, They look awesome. Doug PS: Snowing yet in VT?
  7. Greg, I live in Lewiston. How far is that from you? I may be interested in some gear. Doug
  8. Charles, If you ever want to setup a road trip to Burlington, VT count me in. It is awesome up there. I worked in Burlington & Cabot for a couple of months on their digital phone systems. There was a bar in burlington call "The Chicken Bone" in was great, but I think it is closed now. Fall foliage would be perfect. Doug
  9. Charles, 3 days left on Cornwalls. Your almost there. Doug
  10. Hey Charles, I would consider some kinda of swap for the 62's with the 68's they would compliment my 67 KHorns well. Doug
  11. Charles, You don't want those, what you need is my 85's. HaHa!!! I'm sure I'll find them a good home. Doug
  12. Charles, They are sweet, but the 62 Corns I've got have different logos than these plus the grill material is also different. If I was to take a shot at the year I would guess between 64 - 67 just from the pie logos. Mine are "A" SN's and have the plexiglass block lettered logo in the bottom middle of the speaker when it is standing up. Just my 2 cents. Did the seller send anyone the SN on this board, it was impossible to make it out from the pic. Doug
  13. When I said exc. cond. I mean the cane grills. Sorry Doug
  14. I have a set of 85 Cornwalls in CBR with Woven Cane grills in exc cond., in a mellow brown stain. SN# 8509997 & 8509998. They are located in Lewiston, Maine. When I bought them they needed to be refinished ( some 1/16 to 1/8 inch deep scratches needed to palm sanded out) but I never got around to doing them. They looked good enough for me to use them in my living room. I currently own a set of Khorns, 62 vert. Corns and a set of LaScala's. I am going to use the money I get for the Corns for other stereo equip. I was told that to refinish them to look mint would be about $100, not bad. I am going to put pics up this weekend. Need to get $750 for them, that is what I paid for them. They have never been abused by me in any way. They do sound awesome. I really don't want to ship them so I really looking for someone to pic them up. I have been a member of the BB for a while and would give the people here first crack at it before I put them on Ebay. I have received alot of help on here and feel it is only the right thing to do for a fellow Klipsch Nut to put them to good use. You can either PM me or reply to the thread. I will watch it closely.
  15. Everything below (after the divorce) haha Doug
  16. Hey Charles, good to hear from you again. The 84 Cornwalls are being used as a small 2 channel system at the moment. I am actually considering selling them to a good home. They are raw birch (with a nice stain on them) with woven cane grills they are a 7 out of 10. The grills are perfect, they need to be refinished though. They have some scratches on it some are about a 16th deep. I was told about $100 for the pair to be redone back to natural birch. Doug P.S. The velodyne is bone crushing. The neighbor called to cops on the other neighbor, because she thought their kids were playing in the gararge with a live band. HeHe
  17. Audible, I have about an 18ft wide wall with KHorns tucked into the corners and the 62 Cornwalls laying on their sides in between the KHorns. Its like having a wall of speakers. Using the 62's for the center is amazing. Doug
  18. Mike, See if this helps you. 1962 woofer basket. Doug
  19. Yup still do have the 62's Just can't part with them. I actually use both of them as a combined center channel in the vericcal position so the horns are across and to the outide in between my 67 Khorns. My rears are 79 LaScala's, with a left over pair of 84 Cornwalls. Doug
