  1. Almost ready to fire. I discovered brake fluid in the old vacuum lines, so I'll be replacing the brake booster and master cylinder today. Otherwise, vacuum and distributor and that should be it.

That was a knuckle buster in my Crn Vic - used some Super Comps designed for another car and did a little cutting and welding which is one of the reasons I wrapped them - prettier that way. Good luck and if you don't mind please keep posting your updates - builds are very cool!

    I will continue to update!

These are BBK long tubes that are designed for this application, but they just barely fit. I think there will be a mm or two between the driver's side and the steering shaft.

    Passenger's side is on

I was really enjoying this thread but it has been quiet for many days now so I thought I would start some fun with my non-FORD forum friends - not looking to create enemies though. So attached is my Hemi-killer that I built from my mom's car about 17 years ago. I use to drag race it at the track to annoy my Chevy friends with muscle cars. Nothing like coming out of the end of the track ahead of your buddies. :)

P.S. I have learned to not be to uppity as you don't know what the next guy is running.

Love it! What have you done to it?

Engine is going in on Friday, assuming I don't have anymore parts delays.

To be fair, you could sell the peripherals and then use that extra money for a beefy AVR or separates.  Just saying, there are options....the RF-5's take up less room.  They sing too.  It all depends on what you want to do.  RF-5's are respectable speakers.

RF-5's would be a great choice and would free up budget for separates

Gary (Tigerman) inspired me to take a leap on some new speakers.  Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery they say.  Warming tubes up now.   Review to follow.

Sweet! The 7II's will put a smile on your face. By the way, I think you have a serious problem. In a good way tho...

A serious Klipsch hunting problem? I think I'd tend to agree. Time to part with some members of the collection.

That looks sweet brother. So glad you got that Sherbourn amp for your set up. Those small component fans are a great idea. I own the Sherbourn one and it works great in my system. My processor of all things heats up quite a bit and this does a good job of keeping it cool. I was nice to see those AC Infinity fans are now available at Audio Advisor. 99 bucks is a good deal too.

Thanks for pointing it out to me! What a fantastic piece of equipment for the money.

This is my second AC Infinity purchase, I also have a T8 on top of my Onkyo in my ht setup.

teaman, I have had my Emotiva PT-100 for a month now. For 300 bucks I don't think you can find anything close to it. The pre amp is very basic, no bells or whistles but that is what I was looking for. The display is easy to see and has your basic functions. The tuner section works great, with the wire antenna that came with it I am able to pull in stations 60 miles away. I have been using the PT-100 to stream Spotify, very happy with that sounds great. I also purchased the new Emotiva CD-100 cd player, which I also really like. I have done a A B comparison using the RCA or Optical cable. I think the Optical cable sounds better. Once again for 300 bucks I think the Emotiva CD-100 player would be hard to beat. I don't have a turn table yet to try the phono section out, so I can't give an opinion on it as of now. I am using the Emotiva XPA GEN 3   2 Channel power amp, and a pair of Klipsch Forte's along with the PT-100 and the CD-100 for my bedroom system. I am very happy with it, sounds great.

The only 2 negatives that I have on the PT-100 was the tuner section was hard to program, instructions in book didn't work for me. Quick call to Damon at Emotiva had me going in 5 minutes. Also the remote the volume moves very quickly, so just be careful.

Really loving the PT-100 so far. The remote is kinda counterintuitive at first, but it's easy once you get used to its operation. I have seen several complaints about the fast moving volume, but that has not been my experience, so I wonder if they've made a change. If anything, I wish the volume moved faster.
