I'm open to reasonable offers but have only had one offer so far. It was just too low ball. I'm not in a hurry to sell and will work with a buyer but I'll also keep it rather than give it away. 🙂

We are moving and downsizing so I'm selling off most of my theater equipment. Keeping a UPA-200, a pair of RPM-600 and a Denon receiver. Selling two more pair of Klipsch-RP-150M and RB-62ii and a projector, OPPO DVD player and a 2 channel Sony receiver. No where to put them and really not much time to enjoy them with all of our new challenges and opportunities with the move.

The used market is really weird!! I thought this amp would sell quickly with multiple offers, yet I haven't had one offer here or on Emotiva. Other pieces that I wasn't even sure would sell, have sold fast. Go figure!! 🙂

My current front speakers are RP-160s. My last two pair of speakers were Forte 1s with Crites changes and RP-280s. For some weird but satisfying reason, the 160s sound better than either of the other two. They are more open, balanced and even seem to get louder quicker. Same room, same electronics, etc.
To me that seems strange but I guess it's a function of many variables, including room acoustics.

I would like to buy these. I am out in West TX currently and will be coming through the area mid to late next week. I hope for my sake that they are around still....
They are still available. 2 people said they were coming to look at them Tuesday but check with me when you get here.

Wisconsin/Chicago area. I would be willing to pay shipping if reasonable but I know they are beasts.
It would be too much and risky to ship from Texas. Thanks.

Where are you located?

You coming to Houston for Christmas by any chance?? haha

I have the R-114w/remote, and while not the monster the 117 is, still has that great tubish quality. BTW, it is also for sale.

These early Pioneers sound and look great. The 950 is a monster @85wpc. WPC back then had a different meaning than today.

Are the RF7ii's still available? Condition? Color? I'm in Houston.
Thanks,
Charlie

Beautiful speakers and oh so close!! No upgraded Crites crossovers, etc,??

No screen here with our BenQ projector. Painted the wall with SW base white paint. Excellent results but our room is windowless too.

OK, after spending another day doing research and calculations instead of working, I think that I have this figured out.
I cannot add two ceiling fans because the spacing will cause a strobe. I can move the existing fan back about 42" or so and it will still look right in the room (centered between four can lights.
So after I do this, I am left with maybe 7' to 8' between the screen location and where I can put a projector. So short throw projector it is.
I want a 120" screen (105" wide).
A Benq HT2150ST looks decent.

I am just planning right now. I will need to complete a major wiring job so I just need to know what to plan for. I think that this will do it.
Can anyone recommend a short throw projector? Maybe have one for sale?
The 2150ST is the one we chose. We did tons of research and a good techie friend recommended the BenQ so that is what we did. Absolutely pleased with it. Lots of great projectors out there, although not sure about the selection of short throw projectors. Take your time, research, purchase and enjoy.

Our projector is about 5' from the wall and projects a picture about 100"x40". Crystal clear!!
