I know I'm late to the party, but as I have a pair and found this thread via a google search. The 3.88" is accurate, or darn close as I measured it just under 4"

I recently acquired a pair of these from a defunct theater. They seem very similar to the X-15 but are ported at the bottom, not on the sides. HUUUGE and fortunately on casters. The compression drivers are JBL with no decal. I'm assuming they were originally loaded with the Fazier F-333, but who know. The 15" drivers are Fraziers. Any info the experts here could offer would be appreciated. I simply have yet to see a pic or any other info on this particular design.
