so what's your personal opinion on the pm 4.2?

First of all, thanks justin for the respond to this. You mean I will lose my center channel? But with my current 4.2 setup, still I didn't hook any Input to the center/sub Output, but I'm getting center channel(not true center I know) from the speakers and did hear ppl talk in DVDs, how bout' this? Must I set it to 5.1? What if I set it to 4.1, will this works? I know if I hook a SVS to the promedia or any other PC system, it would be TOOOO much. But I think I'll try this out one day...

Gluegun, i mean pm 4.2 when i say ANOTHER pair of 2.1. TheEAR, I know they're great and way off better than the PC setup.No Doubt. I have a question for you, can I just hook the SVS sub to my current ProMedia 4.2 setup??

i just bought another pair of Pro 2.1 recently, and i personally think that it's louder and have more bass than the pm 4.1 i was wondering what if i hook up 2 sets of Logitechs, would it be the loudest system of all? even the BA7800? Since the Logi is the cheapest

Hey, why no one discuss on the promedia 4.2 ?? for me, i think the 4.2 setup is better than the 4.1, isn't it?

Dear MM, thanks for the information. What I'm thinking to get now is RF-7, RSW 12/15, Denon amp, CD player, and cable...anything else do I need to get? Regarding the room size I think I have no problem with it, I planing to move in to a larger room soon...any idea ? I'm sure I'll get a listen to the system before I make any decision

Hi Roger, I get what you mean, but can you put away the 'price range' issue first, can you tell me what should I get if I just want to play CD(no movie) with a 2-channel system(bookshelf or floorstanding)? and with a sub of course. BTW, what's the difference between all those AMP ?(AV AMP, PreAmp, Amplifier)? Also, the difference between Bookshelf and Floorstanding ?

Dear MM, Can you tell me the setup you're having now(i mean the 2 subs setup), sounds interesting to me. I'm using the Klipsch Promedia line but after cranking them up, i found that it can't satisfy me so i decided to head for the Home Reference series...I love deep fat bass setup that can shake the room. But I don't know where to get started, like what gears to match in order to get the best from the system? I consider my newbie, so any guide from anyone would be greatly appreciated
