  1. There is the possibility of a 1 mm ID Stainless steel pipe slid over the cantilever, and use it as a pry bar, work it back n forth a few times (20-30) straighten that puppy right up!!
  2. You have to apply heat with Boron, Propane torch is adequate
  3. Gentle as in a small whack with a 5 Lb hammer @JohnJ
  4. That could be fixed very gently and a pair of 12" Vice Grips!
  5. yeah the Olds 442 was always a challenge Today it's different, way too much engineering to tone things down, ... makes sense to make it bigger and more powerful just to restrict it.

  15. I would be playing Vinyl, or R2R but I have to concede to the time it will take to get things back together. Making major moves of ones system, just takes....time. I just have to stick with it and be able to realize "Some form of" the joy of the completed system. Until then... YouTube! or other Flac and the what nots.

  19. I of course can not say to the CD or other media except the vinyl, which is one of the smoothest recordings I own. Got this back in the mid 70's on a fluke, and just loved it from the get-go. It is one of the few vinyl pressings I use for testing and evaluation of sound. @MicroMaraGlad you liked it
