  1. If you want to save money don't run your video through your receiver. What do you gain by it?? A volume bar going across the TV screen when you change the volume? It won't make your picture any better, so as far as I see it, its a waste of cable and just more connections to loose your quality picture in.

  2. Obviously the other speakers make good speakers too, so its a matter of budget and your likings. They are all well manufactured, but each produces a different sound. The best way to decide is to let your ears decide what you like. Like stated earlier your speakers should be at ear level(at least the tweeters for the fronts and center) and yours surrounds can be higher. The Klipsch are very efficient speakers because of their horns. To me this lets music be much louder and very crisp at a low power level. I personally was in a debate between Klipsch and Polk and went with the Klipsch. Although I do not have any experience with the quintets, so I can not say anything about them, and how they compare to other Klipsch speakers and other brands.

  3. There in there, but I really hate the Klipsch adds. To me the are very dull, dark, and very unimpressive. Bad marketing to me, and from what I learned at school. But thats their style. I think they sell by sound, not by adds. Just my opinion.

  4. There going to sound the same so that could be disadvantage or advantage, depending on what you want. Many people like to have different subs so one may hit lower better than the other. (one may sound great 20-35hz the other 35-?) Having two subs is nice. Place them in different corners for different effects and more listening area. Then if you have the same sub, they will sound the same and just have more effect or sound all around.

  5. I've never had a sub with 4 RCA jacks, but I think you shouldn't need to put anything into the outputs of the sub. But what you are going to want to do is connect the receiver sub output to the inputs using a spliter. There will be a huge difference vs just hooking it into one of the inputs.

If you ever heard the Sunfire Signature you would never call any of the sunfire products sunflower. And if you have and didn't like it, you better see a doctor cause there is something wrong with you. I'm not saying its the best sub ever, but it should never be put down.

  7. The RF-3II's would make great surrounds. They would bring up more bass in the rear, at the same time they would still be timbre matched. Your other question I still am not sure what exactly your asking. Are you debating about getting the RF-5? If so, I would save and get the RF-7, the bigger drivers make a huge difference. I personally don't think the upgrade from the RF-3II to the RF-5 is worth the price difference at all.

  8. I got the same gun as you JM. Unfortunately this is the first year I had to miss good ole Wisconsin deer hunting. My professors decided to give me a test Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday before Thanksgiving. So I had to stay at school to study. Sucked, I really needed to get away from the library and desk and just walk in the woods. Anyways this year I got home wednesday night and my family and hunting group was cutting up the deer. It was kinda weird this year cause we left the heads on them and tried to make the lese amound of cuts possible with CWD and all.
